As a diehard Kobe fan, one who grew up with him in Los Angeles for 20 years, I find few influential people in NBA who deliver more emotional weight and context to the loss of Kobe than Mike Breen. His China cab story... this story about the very few items that he cared to save from such a destructive event, and several others... Breen is the voice of the NBA today, and he lends something that matters when contextualizing what we lost when Kobe died.
