Mike Bickle Caught on Tape: Editing IHOP Prophetic History to Save His Reputation as Prophecy Expert
The first clip was posted in 2023 on Mike Bickle's KZread channel. The second clip is from 1983.
In the first, Bickle talks as if he heard the prophecy somebody else had made, and had just followed it, because he "signed up" for it. But the second is full of his personal stories and direct involvement in a chain of spiritual events and experiences including his spiritual discernment of what he believed God was saying to him just before the solemn assembly and 21-day fast.
He had everything. There were visions, dreams, confirmations, audible voices, Scriptures, conversations with God, fears, prayers, fastings, sudden impressions, doubts, humble hearts, an angelic visitation, the whole nine yards.
And because of all this, he was so convinced, so he says he is putting his entire reputation on the line. But then when it fails, it is somebody else's fault.
There are so many layers of delusion it's unbelievable. But he tells great, gripping, dramatic stories and everyone just wants more.
The funny thing is elsewhere he admitted he was new to prophecy and these kind of spiritual experiences less than a year before, but somehow he is suddenly an expert and prepared to lead hundreds of people at his church to follow his delusions, risking their health in the process.
TLDR: The history is Bickle prophesied the revival in 1983. The edit is Bob Jones prophesied it, not Bickle.

My thoughts exactly. They are also experts at taking a Bible verse(s) and expanding - more accurately- contorting it for a personal purpose or spinning a yarn to entertain the undiscerning audience with "signs and wonders" NOT the old Bible ones but the new exciting ones. The things that attract the targeted audience. Mike Bickle is a heretic and cult leader. I say this frequently, but he was exposed years ago and no one listened. He damaged lives then, caused a huge scandal, and did it again.
God moves when HE wants, and when HE appoints! What he says he heard was not God! If he heard anything.

If they preach heresy then they are not a church despite the sign on the door. If they have pride instead of humility, Unforgiveness instead of mercy, Short instead of long suffering, Contemptous instead of kind and supportive, Mean instead of validating, Refusing to hear instead of listening Cold instead of comforting Selfish instead of giving To the least of these To the broken and hurting Then they are not a group of believers despite the steeple on their building. If they do not preach repentance and obedience to Jesus. If they do not confess that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again victorious on the third day and that we have no other way to be saved but through accepting and believing this truth and confessing our sins and repenting and surrendering our lives to obey Jesus and also acknowledging that Jesus is God. If they do not openly and publicly declare these truths then they are not a church of believers but rather a building of false prophets and false converts. Heretics. It doesn't matter how many other nice and spiritual things they say. The Bible says mark and avoid them.
They all want to say their prophets and then when it hits the fan they want to place blame elsewhere bc God doesn’t play on “thus saith the LORD”
13:54 giving one prophetic detail after another, from this one or that one, while NOT giving their name. This is a red flag. People who are manipulating will feed anonymous information with an air of it being reliable.
Please leave Mike Bickle..... Judgement day is nearing where he (and all of us) will be judged! Let us pray instead for the mercy of God!
I don’t know how anyone sat through this guy’s self-aggrandizement. And I see he doesn’t have an open Bible.
"Love God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength." "Love your neighbor as your self." "Love your enemies and do good to them." --Words of Jesus. That's A LOT of Love if you really think about it. It's almost like if anyone was to really do them who has time for anything but Love? Mr. Bickle did bad and crummy things 20 years ago. Not downplaying the wrongness of it but at some point it's time for FORGIVENESS instead of it being time to still more try to kill the wounded.
