He’s taken care of Newcastle financially, isn’t that enough? He just said he’ll stop putting money into the club because he doesn’t have the resources to compete so instead he made them self sustainable and tbh that’s good enough. Look at Sunderland, Derby & etc they’re not self sustainable. Premier league clubs had to take a loan to cover the costs during covid.. The club can now spend £150-200million without breaching FFP rules.

@@mohtheshamelessnewcastlepl4602 I don't think Ashley knew what he was getting himself into. Running a football club is different to running a low end sports business, especially a big club like Newcastle. Yes, there is the finance side of football of balancing books, but you also have to show ambition to keep the fans happy. I think Ashley saw the club as a means of expanding his business emperor and living a celebrity life style by appearing at football matches and attracting the press. He made some bizarre football decisions that almost ruined the club.
Alot of people hate Mike but a don't hate him he came in and done his best he put in the money he wanted to and no more cant complain about that n with out Ashley coming in Newcastle wouldn't even be a club anymore people forget that thank u for saving my club n thank u for selling respect what u done u messed up changing the name but done the right thing n changed it back no owner is perfect but he done his best ❤
