Mike & The Mechanics is one of my favorite bands ever. Each member is magnificently talented. Paul Young was gone way too soon and so sorely missed.

Paul Carrack is an amazingly talented singer/musician. RIP Paul Young, beautiful voice.

Still blows me mind to have the two Pauls in the same group...incredible effort by Mike Rutherford to bring together the best of the best in one group, hardly any egos to be seen.

Paul Carrack never had an ego in any of his band and solo arrangements, so it doesn't surprise me that he only makes this band better by being part of it.

Carrack puts together local musicians from South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire for christmas gigs at Sheffiekd city hall every year. Sell out and much loved. Top man .

Thus is a fabulous performance of "How Long" It has been and still is my all time favorite song. I'm now 69 in 2024.❤❤😊. Paul Carrack is a musical genius and Jamie Moses nailed that guitar solo

A truly great band. One of the most talented pop bands you could ever hear. This was their last tour their last gigs with both great vocalists before Paul Young tragically died. Amazing talent in this band.

One of my favourite bands of all time, I saw them at the Manchester Apollo months before the legend Paul Young sadly passed away! RIP. Saw them again in London a few years ago with the new line up. they were very good but I do miss the vocals of the two Pauls! Brilliant songs and musicians! X

Genesis are one of the best selling music artists of all time with 21.5 million certified units sold in the U.S. and approximately 130 million albums worldwide.They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. One of the best groups period

The Living Years - one of the greatest songs EVER written - everyone should listen to it before they hit 25 and make sure they don't waste the rest of the years they have together. And even if you haven't fallen out tell your dad, and mum, you love them - say it out loud and clear. I LOVE YOU!

The amazing Mike And The Mechanics. Paul Carrack has one of the best voices of all time, and I love that he tours with Eric Clapton thesedays. No ego's just pure talent. Paul Young left us way too soon.

Genesis is one of my most favorite bands, but I love M&M too because of so many catchy tunes and these two great lead singers. I miss PY

I wish I had not been so selfish and jumped on my pride and got to know my Dad, better before he passed away.

This is just utterly brilliant, both these singers are fantastic. To hear Paul Young sing 'Everday Hurts' again, was just magic. My Mum bought that 7" when I was a young fella, and I adopted it, the vocals are still so crisp on this video. Such a loss when he passed away. Thank you so much for uploading this. :-)

Great band! I listened to Paul Young (Sad Cafe) many years ago when deployed in the US Navy. "Everyday Hurts" is one of my fave's! That song got me through some rough times...

after his death in 2000, they found a lot of songs he finished writing or half written. I loved his energy. When I was in high school, I loved, 'Taken In', and it was many years when I started watching youtube that I found out he had died. I read a bunch of things about his death and before. I was intrigued by him! :(

Amazing, the best music, always

This was so fantastic. A lot of these songs were on a cassette tape I had, I had one other tape and that was but seriously. They are burned into my memory during that freezing cold winter in the mtns of tennessee. All of these people mean a lot to me, thanks!

Paul Carack is a genious, plays every instrument under the sun and has a magic voice. Rutherford, I am a HUGE old style Genesis fan but he wasn't really the lead guitarist of the band, rather Bass guitar, Steve Hackett and then Daryl Stuermer did the solo guitar magic. Nevertheless a great gifted man, and to create M&M was briliant. Paul Young RIP, you are missed and appreciated with your fantastic voice.

Remarkably clean sounds for a live performance! Usually, live shows have some serious clinkers. I love these guys!

This is a great venue for all of us to enjoy and remember, when we could hear the fabulous vocals of both Paul Carrack and Paul Young in the same band.Those of you in the UK ,had a bit more access to this great band than we , here in the US but we did get to hear them perform at many venues accross the country.We loved them every bit as much as you and...yes...we do miss Paul Young very much...RIP Paul !...FCC Extra Class Radio Station WN6OHG

Everyday Hurts is from Paul Young's previous band called Sad Café, not a big hit but it's a fine selection from their catalog. Paul Carrack does his 70's international hit with Ace called How Long. The Paul Young lead vocal on I Can't Dance was previously done by Genesis' Phil Collins. The other songs are all Mike and the Mechanics originals, with Silent Running, All I Need Is A Miracle, The Living Years, Over My Shoulder and Another Cup Of Coffee all proven M+M hits.
