Couldn’t agree more. I dislike Randle very much but getting rid of him just for the sake of getting a “superstar” instead of right fit never made sense. Bridges is literally the PERFECT fit. Just never thought it would be a reality to trade with nets but it always made sense. Smart move for both sides

The Knicks just got better. They gave up no one of relevance, and some people will wince at the number of picks, but other teams wanted Bridges too, so they HAD TO make the Nyets an offer they couldn't refuse.

Mike is the man. They don’t make em like him anymore. Wish he were back on the radio. LGK.

You have to be a bit more than a casual to understand why the value was there for the Knicks to trade those picks for Bridges. The way the CBA is today you can't have more than maybe 2 max contracts on your team, Bridges may not be an all-star as of today, but his contract is VERY team friendly. If you compare it to Paul George for example hes being paid 30+ more mil a year. These types of contracts are what is so valuable to a team like the Knicks who are in win now mode. Its much more than just that as well with team chemistry, age and what not. It is a situation where the value is hard to see but it is 100% there.

2 years left on his deal. Immediate fit to our chemistry and what we are doing. Didn’t lose anyone and that is more valuable than anything. Keeping Randle while adding bridges to me is a phenomenal move.

I remember Mike was saying in one of his podcasts, out of all the NBA players, he wanted Mikal Bridges but it would never happened. I hope he takes us to the promise land.

Yanks need a new manager and GM. Boone and Cashman have been stale and done nothing for several years.

The Villanova quartet and Hartenstein isn't enough to contend, imo. I think you need Randle playing at a high level. Mike is undervaluing Randle as I think he can fit just fine. They need someone else capable of taking over a game instead of expecting an undersized Brunson to carry them with 40 every game. Resign OG, trade Robinson as he's never available, but keep Randle...

Would love for Zach Edey to still be on the board when it’s our turn to pick! Probably won’t be, but holding out hope.

We need a mike and chris reunion like a couple times a year. Maybe around the super bowl? Id kill for mike and the marquis.

You saw the imbalance with Randle out of the line up. Cant expect a little guy like Brunson to score 40 every playoff game to secure wins. The rest of the Villanova band are great but they cant take over games like Randle..

Do t think it’s that he’s not good, he is an excellent player, it’s just does he fit. He tends to require the ball too much and the flow of the offense comes to a lurch when he dribbles for 17 seconds of the 24.

I feel like the problem with Boone is he doesn’t like making tough decisions or upsetting his players. DJ and Torres should not be in the lineup period. Gill, and Rodon should have been pulled way sooner in their outings last week. Not every player is like Judge, who started off really bad this year, but rallied. Some guys are more like Josh Donaldson. We know what they are

Subway series is beyond dull and boring now.

Say what you will about Harvey, and he drove me nuts too, but when the chips were down in 2015, and you had his douche agent talking about shutting him down in September (for very valid reasons mind you), he stepped up and played. To this day the most innongs pitched by anyone in a season following a Tommy John surgery. And whaddya know- next season his arm basically broke for good. He was definitely an arrogant baby, but he stepped up at the cost of his own tremendously valuable future when his team needed him. They failed, partly due to him, but no one can ever take away what he did for the Mets that year, and he doesnt get enough credit for it.

I don't think the Yankees are slumping, they have been exposed. Soto and Judge. If they don't hit, or are pitched around, the Yankees are screwed.

Austin Wells needs to be in the line up. Ben Rice needs to remain in the line up. My grandmother needs to be at 2nd base.

Knicks are not trading Randle and they don't need to. If they lost Hartenstein, they will keep Robinson and find another C.

I suppose anything is possible but I don't see how you win titles in the NBA with that many role players

Why are we trying to move Randle ? Nobody on the team can score on the block like him . Plus, other than Brunson, he's the only other guy that commands a double team.

It's going to be hard to keep Isaiah because they can only give him $16.2 million and someone will likely give him $18-$20 million. I don't think they trade Randle this offseason, if he shows he can fit with this group, if he shows he can be a team guy and submit to Brunson and that style of play, then he might be here long term. A better fit would be a big that can space the floor, keep the ball moving, and provide elite offense and interior defense that would be an upgrade. If they could ship Randle out and get Adebayo, Jaren Jackson, would you make that move? I would.

Everyone says he's this great defensive player, but he's too soft to guard anyone his own size and not quick enough to guard smaller players that play with any type of physicality. I've never seen him shut down any of these great scorers. He's a league minimum type player at best, and I doubt anyone will even give him that after this last year on his contract.

If he wanted to go to the Knicks then you trade him to purgatory until his contract is up and collect the picks from that team. Insanity Imagine the Mets if they continued to suck trading Diaz to the Yankees and him winning a title there. Its that level of lunacy from the Nets. There's a reason these two franchises have not made a trade since the 80s And I'm so sure your opinion would be the same if the Knicks 20 years ago traded the NJ Nets a final piece to help them win a title when they had Kidd. Or 4 years ago when they had Kyrie, Harden and Durant. SO sure.

@@jsciarri Prob wouldnt be a bad idea. They have zero fanbase in Brooklyn. NYC in general. Even when they had the 3 stars not so long ago it was never a very strong atmosphere at Barclays. And now with the Knicks being real contenders and the Nets being lottery bound for the next decade, they have nothing to sell the fanbase on. Atleast a place like Vegas, KC or Nashville would appreciate a team.

Last I checked Yanks are 52-30 Mets still under 500. Think we need to realize it's a long season Mets aren't as good as they been playing recently and Yanks aren't as bad as they been playing. Mets the shoe will drop.

😂😂😂 Bridges will take them to another level? Yes...another level of HELL, as we will have to either try to recoup the draft picks one day or just give up for a decade.
