I have the same strategy when I know I can't win long rallies, try to finish the point on every forehand 😂, and do fast serve to create opportunities, but it is somehow a sign of weakness when you're not able to play and wait for opportunities

@@geemy9675 the ability to be aggressive early in the point and create opportunities within the first 3 touches is probably the most important aspect of competitive table tennis. The speed rally ability only helps if you can survive the first 5 shots anyway and when you're against someone like otto good luck with that lol

@@gab5012 I'm definitely out of his league or any pongfinity player 😂 I have a lot of trouble getting out of a push rallies which almost always happen after my opponent served a short backspin serve..😭 forehand loop on a low push with lots of backspin is so hard, and backspin loop 0% chance of success 😭 so right now embracing the push and trying to be more consistent at it. I've realized if you manage to outlast the opponent during a few push rallies then opponents start trying different things which opens up opportunities. On my serve I always serve fast/long with variations of side/top spin or no spin to shorten the rallies and very short no spin serve when opponent steps back to rerun fast serves. but some fast moving/better players are not bothered by short no spin serves. with other players I receive high returns and easy third ball forehand smash.
