I’m a registered nurse and also a midwife in my country. The first process as a international registered nurse is to have my qualification assessed by NNAS. So I would like to know if I would need my midwifery qualification be assessed also and if it’s by the same institution “NNAS”?

I’d advise you as the CES or people assessing your o documents for this question, they’d give you precise/accurate response

I have only midwifery certificate and license can I apply in Canada.

Please kindly check the criterias well, I read on their site some time ago and those without permit can apply for the British Columbia unlike the Ontario which requires you to have work permit in Canada before and with British Columbia if you are from English speaking country like Ghana, you don't need to write ielts, but I bear to defer thou

I’d say in the video if you’re from English speaking country you won’t be needing proof of English or if you have lived in English speaking country for a partner number of years

You can try your luck, but you need to have worked as a midwife within the last 5 years while you're registered with an organization.

I did diploma in midwifery and have upgraded with 2yrs BSc midwifery. Can I apply with the BSC. Have been working for 4yrs now plus a 1yr national service

It depends on the session you're going in for, if you start now, next session is Jan 2023 if you're eligible, complete your application and your credentials meet their standard, you have your IELTS in place you may be considered for Jan 2023 intake, otherwise next session. So it all depends on you and don't forget finance is there as well

Please can a midwife who just completed her master's degree in the U.K apply? She had her diploma and Bachelor's in midwifery in Ghana with more than 5 years working experience. And would the masters degree raise her salary over a bachelor's degree? Please my second question is ....can a midwife already in Canada but was internationally trained, can her credentials be evaluated on the level of a nurse so she can write the Canada NCLEX-RN to work as a nurse? ...I know is possible in US ...please is it possible in Canada too please?

You must do this program before working as a midwife in Canada. You can get a job from Canada jobs but not as a midwife. All internationally educated midwives hoping to work in Canada must undergo this program.

That’s what I just explained in this video You will have to study for about a year in Canada before you can sit for the exam Unfortunately one of their criteria is Canadian PR or citizenship which makes it kind of difficult for oversea candidates to apply

You can apply for the program provided you have been practicing as a midwife, you will submit all your details for the application and you may be considered. The program is competitive but there is a global shortage of midwives, don't waste your time thinking you might not be considered
