The deputy mayor concedes no U.S. city was ready for this (the influx of illegal immigrants). That is what Texas and cities within it have been saying for years. Now you northern cities get it. Now you understand what Texas was saying. Texas wasn't wrong or racist for trying to close it borders. Instead of criticizing and fighting against Texas Governor Abbott, the northern mayors and governors should be supporting his efforts to close his borders to illegal immigration. Instead of lobbying Congress for more money for illegal immigration, join Texas in lobbying for more enforcement of U.S. immigration laws and resources to hear asylum cases quickly. Most of the people who have entered the U.S. claiming asylum do not qualify for it and need to be deported right away.

There was a bill that was killed by republicans in Congress that would've fixed many of the problems with our immigration system. Republicans don't care about this issue and haven't passed new laws when they had control of Congress and the White House

I was on 149th and 3rd Ave Wednesday I couldn’t believe a child about 7/8 was selling green seedless grapes. I seen skipping up to people, so I said maybe his mom is up the block… so as I proceeded walking I stop and watch him walk to the stack of boxes with grapes still no mom…. I actually waited around more than 30 minutes I was blankstare bc that area is busy with all kinds of traffic especially addicts etc…. That’s not normal and I took a photo of the child my heart couldn’t take… 😢😢😢 I’ve a soft spot for children ❤❤❤ anyway I’ve to past that way today if he is there I’m calling the police…. Its a cold world we’re living in 😢😢😢😢

They get city funded debit card with weekly payment and also probably also use the WIC benefits to buy fruit to re sell and just buy more. It’s total profits. Everything they make is profit since it’s free housing and debit cards
