얼굴 관련한 말들이 보여서 댓글답니다. 웬디는 연말무대 때 3미터 정도의 높이 낙상사고로 얼굴, 손목, 골반 등에 부상을 입었어요. 특히 얼굴과 골반골절이라는 중상을 입어서 얼굴은 와이어로 고정했었구요. 워낙 큰 부상이었고 지금은 많이 회복했지만 부상으로 인한 붓기는 빠지려면 시간이 오래 걸려요. 영상보면 누가봐도 얼굴이 많이 부어있고, 그래서 인상이 달라보이는 건데 얼굴 얘기는 자제해주셨으면 해요. 더구나 노래 영상이니까요. 노래 너무 예쁘게 잘 부르잖아요.. 최근 영상들 보면 붓기 많이 빠졌어요. 다시 무대 서려고 재활과 치료 열심히 하고 돌아와준 웬디에게 응원 많이 부탁드립니다!

와 진짜 정말 너무 잘 부른다.. 불러본 사람은 알겠지만, 지르지 않고 처리해야하는 고음도 그렇고 코러스 없이 부르기 힘든 노래임

I hope Wendy in the future will be a bit more greedy when it comes to her potential opportunities and abilities. Sometimes, it seems like shes way too selfless and very kind to the point shes not really thinking about her wellbeing first in the first place. I always got that kind of vibe from her based on my observations being her fangirl till now. It's such a good personality that everyone should have but pls not to that extent you didn't prioritize yourself first?!! It is, somehow really holding her back to give and show us more her real abilities and talents. Dear Wendy, you should be a bit selfish and prioritize yourself way more than anyone or anything else. 독보적 음색, 솔로 가수로도 성공 할 사람이다.

여러분들 웬디 미용 목적으로 수술한게 아니라, 추락할때 바닥에 안면을 심하게 부딪혀서(특히 광대뼈랑 골반) 골절되는 바람에 그거 고치려고 수술 한 겁니다ㅠㅠ (당시에 너무 심하게 다쳐서 음식도 제대로 씹지못해 음식을 하나하나 다 으깨서 겨우 먹고있다고 멤버들이 팬사인회에서 울면서 말하고, 직접 웬디를 담당하셨던 의사선생님께서도 힘든 수술이였는데도 잘 참고서 항상 괜찮다고 말하는게 안쓰러웠다고 글도 남겼었죠..) 아무튼 한달 전까지만 해도 입안에 와이어를 달고 있을정도로 정말 심하게 다쳤었는데 지금 정말 많이 나아진거예요..😢 + 답글에서 싸우지마시고, 웬디한테 응원의 댓글 부탁드립니다ㅠ

It's really upsetting that with wendys vocal skills she could have been on the top with artists such as Iu. Instead she is stuck in this shell because of the lack of opportunities Sm gives her. She's literally the best female vocalist of the 3rd gen kpop yet is the least popular. Lets also talk about sm styling her. I miss her forehead and her with darker hair not saying she doesn't look good her I just want a change up tbh. Sm is literally holding her back and it's not right.

There is top people with very high skill vocal e.g shannon, but she couldn't do well in kpop industry. Sometimes there is something about success not only high technique. Many singer with average skill vocal but make it into world star. For sure, luck is one of best factor as well

After all today's generation POPULARITY comes first b4 real talent, if ur beautiful a model like beauty everyone's in industry will love you and offer you so many things, but if you only just average and ppl didn't recognise you no one will invest you even if u have so many talents. I have actually seen people say her vocal color is lacking and I seriously think those people are tone deaf. She has like 5 different voices (sometimes utilizing them on a single track) and can sound like her members when she wants to! She is a phenomenal vocalist!

@@moonh7448 Exactly! I think they may only know the title tracks to say that. If they listen to their entire discography they wouldn't say that. She never sounds the same on a track. Always switching it up. Her diction and phrasing is amazing. Like how can she sing like that on Butterflies? Then her lower register in Look, Body Talk, and Milkshake and her heavenly vocals on What If Love and Blue Lemonade and sultry vocals on Automatic and Light Me Up, Her jazzy vocals on Be Natural, her swagger on Taste and Time Slip and In & Out, and her powerful vocals and adlibs on Oh Boy, With You, Umpah Umpah, Dumb Dumb, and then there are numerous songs with that amazing high note! She can do all kinds of high notes. I'm still shocked a 3 second soft note from Wendy in Time Slip had me shook more than her 14 second high note in Hit That Drum 🤣🤣🤣 There are way too many songs where her vocals shone the brightest. I kinda pity those who don't know this woman's vocal prowess!

One of the most well-rounded idols of this generation though underappreciated. Queen damaged her vocal cords but STILL ended up as Red Velvet’s Main Vocalist. Did not have a background in dancing but still becomes the member that stands out frequently during their live performances for her moves and energy. The best rapper in the group despite not being a rapper or a part of the rap line. Yeah, Wendy deserves to debut solo first among the group, I can’t see anyone else going first rather than her. She deserves what she has more than anybody else.

Maybe SM still lack in promoting her, but not 'never promoted her' like what you've said. She sang 10 ost (if I'm not mistaken, 2 with seulgi and I'm not including rv. Also I didn't think there is any 3rd gen gg idol that has sing ost more than her) and she has 4 SM station. And now she is being an MC in this show, i think this called promotion. Also in case you didn't know, every SM artist release their solo after a long time years, even Taeyeon released her solo 8 years after her debut. We can't expect SM to be like YG for example, who release their artists solo in quite a short time after their debut (esp compared to SM). Every company have their own strategy

I’m in tears when watching her sing. She’s finally back, and we know she made tons of efforts to stand in front of us again. I love her voice and her tones. She’s not only good at high notes, but also rhythms which makes her fit R&B perfectly. I really look forward to her solo career. Hopefully she will have more chance to sing live in this TV show and other shows. She deserves them.

And if you watched the full eps, Kyuhyun looks so happy that wendy finally get the chance to sing. Because from the beginning of the previous eps he is one of the mc that really wanted wendy to sing. Maybe he know that wendy has been hiatus for a long time and as her sunbae he have to take care of her.

cant believe some even questioning why she got solo, most of rv tracks especially the red album fulls of her adlib and highnote, she even do background vocals and rap in rv discography. She deserves her own spotlight. i would even surprised if she doesnt release her solo song this year 😐 plus korea critics aka kma committee member also excited for her solo lol

She's always the one singing the high notes AND the lowest ones. Her vocal range is unbelievable. And even when she sings loud her voice always sounds so clear and gentle. I'm so so so happy that she's finally releasing something . Just her 💙

@Ice Queen It's true that Seulgi can also sing very low as well! But I don't know, if you take Kingdom Come for example, Wendy is always the one singing the super low notes. Like right after the last chorus it's her.

@Ice Queen Yes mostly of the lowest register are sang by seulgi but wendy has the best control on her lower register among the members especially for a soprano like her. Wendy can even go more lower than seulgi.

@Ice Queen Your definitely wrong. Wendy is undeniably has the most developed lower register among all the members with a great control and support. In the vocal analysis that you said, it just only stated that seulgi's lower register is her most developed and comfortable register among all the register but it didn't stated that she is better than wendy on that aspect. Actually seulgi's lower register doesn't have any true support (well except for some songs). For example , when you hear their song psycho when she do the lower register of the pre chorus, you can observe that she still tend to go nasal.

I wish Wendy do her mini live concerts again...I miss her voice
