My favorite was always the Unicorn Thunderzord. I like the shade of vibrant blue it's painted and the sleek look of the head. I've been watching Power Rangers on Netflix because like Beast Wars, I never saw the entire show as a kid, and I'm looking forward to getting this set soon.

I had the original Thunder Megazord toys too. Looks like it's just as much of a brick as I remember, looks a lot nicer detail-wise though.

lol the red dragonzord at the end turns into the red swagzord because he looks badass

My favorite Zord of all time. I used to have the toy as well. Brings back memories.

The Red Dragonzord makes me think of Gurren Lagann's final look in the show.

Bandai recently came out with an upgraded version of the Legacy Thunder Megazord with new leg pieces to hold the weight back to correct the lean issue. Those are the pieces that fit onto the Unicorn and Griffin Thunderzords. For all those who bought the Legacy Thunder Megazord before the upgrade came out, you can get the replacement parts sent to you for free by calling Bandai America's customer service number.

Since you look to have the original release of the figure, you should know that Bandai recently released it with a slightly new mold for the legs that keep it from falling forward. The change is just a change to the grey/silver panels on the legs that now include a locking point on them. This keeps the figure standing up straight even with the weapons in its hands. the lion, unicorn, and the griffin seem to be more like blocks rather than actual zords. the equivalent first season zords at least had some form of fire power

Awesome review! I also like how floppy the Red Dragon Thunderzord's head is because you can basically make it rock out!

19:05 This reminded me of the moment from "Mighty Morphin power rangers Pink" when as the rangers see Typhonis (Goldar's Frankenstein's zord stitched from parts of the thunder zords and Cyclopsis) for the first time and Kimberly witnesses that her fire bird zord is used in it, we're shown Typhonis's fire bird zord crutch. Interrupts an tensed moment at little bit is what I'm saying.

I used to have a few parts of this. Got them and a lot of other toys from my cousin when I was little

Bit of a shame that they did not made a legacy tor the shuttle zord so they could have a complete line of zords from season 2

Watched the ORIGINAL series recently, and the colors are SPOT on.. Nice review..

Emilio, I like listening to your reviews. On a side note, If these kits were made at about a third of the size, I would absolutely have the original three series on my shelf/desk. There used to be some mini kits, similar to Kabaya for the Team Ninja, but I haven't seen those in a good six months.. Something -that- size would be perfect for me..

This MagaZord looks amazing!! 'turns it to the side, see's the bird hanging for dear life to the Zords arse (ass)'......Still cool though!

i saw the original legacy morpher at barnes and noble . so yeah not all legacy stuff are exclusive to toysrus anymore.

All that's left is Tor The Shuttlezord and then you can finally form The Thunder Ultrazord!!!

Fun fact: In the sentai that this megazord came from, The lion was for the green ranger, Hence the green face,accents and back crystal

What about the zord builder ports, other than the legs in combined mode and the shoulder for the megatigerzord? Can you detach the Red dragon arms or legs?

i have a problem with this ones symmetry, the top looks really good with its tight color scheme, but then you get to the legs and that color scheme goes to crap if i buy this ill probably buy each piece off eBay and get two yellow legs

Its shamed that Power Ranger Series didn't adapted the rangers, but rather the White Ranger and other Zords in Season 02.

Was the original Red Dragon Zord's "knees" so bad they had to redesign the entire function of the legs? Also all be it non-US show cannon is the Green Dragon Zord combination possible?

A blacksmith group made a real Power Axe from the very first Power Rangers here in America.

I always wanted, but never owned an original Thunder Megazord. I was looking forward to the Legacy version since the release of the Legacy Tiger Zord. Despite the flaws I really like this Megazord.

Wish they'd make a legacy Dino megazord with this level of quality. That mold they're using now doesn't cut it.

What sucks is I just saw a review on mmprtoys that shows that bandai fixed the leaning issue by adding in a bit extra plastic on the silver leg parts to stabilize the legs. Sorry you got a bad one, emgo
