MiG 17 Formation Flight With Randy Ball Airshow
Randy Ball takes us for a formation airshow flight in his MiG 17. Bill Culberson flies his MiG 17 in the number 2 position in this flight. Notice how quick Bill is to respond to Randy's control inputs!!

Man I love Mig 17's. They are great in airshows and amazing planes to fanboy on.
Outstanding !! 3 consecutive eargasms with no cigarette breaks.
big respect to owners and pilots that you are still keeping this art of history and beauty. The antena looks like vertical fin :)
MIG-17 is actually one of the best jet warbirds to operate. Cheap as dirt to buy and cost very little to operate besides fuel cost. It is probably also the most affordable jet with a burner on the market.
Amazing footage. Felt like being in the cockpit. The acceleration when they went into burner was wild!
Another incredibel show!! Thank you Randy, Bill, and Erik!!!
Absolutely beautiful camera work and production!
Love the classic Mig-17, Cool video!
God they look absolutely immacukate 😍 somebody's taking very good care of those migs indeed!
Awesome
Sensational! I'd love to see a MiG 15 or MiG 17 at an airshow in Australia. Don't know if we have any flying here. I know there was a MiG 15 being restored at a small airfield near my town a few years back.
Really great flying and camera angles. Great video.
It was a fantastic video!!!!thank you!!!🤩

Wonderful!
Wow, its so awesome seeing what these jets are capable of, I can only imagine what the ones of today can do.
Nice. Can really see the acceleration when the after burner kicked in 👍🏼
FANTASTIC VIDEO 🤩
Out Freaking Standing!
Cool 😎👍
Very very nice. Some camera angles made it look like "all wing, no jet". Not a bad thing though.

I hear ya, I have to set the GoPro’s on Super side to get the whole fuselage. That gets a lot of the wing as well

@@ErikJohnston Hi Erik, just so there is no misunderstanding I really did mean my comment as a compliment. Interesting angles are fascinating. Thanks very much.

@@roderickcampbell2105 I wasn’t offended. You’re exactly right about a lot of wing being in frame. Glad you liked the video!!
What airshow was this?

Thunder over Cedar Creek Lake, Tyler Texas
Were these the Stoli MiGs until 2003ish? I think I saw them at Reno 1999-2002.
Erik was that a flying F4 by the parked migs?

Was that the silver F-101 Voodoo?

@@ErikJohnston as he set the brake there was an F4 on the left. My question is are all those planes flyable examples or just static displays. Thanks Eric. You should be sponsored by Gorilla glue. 300+kt go pro mount on the leading edge of the wing. You have some skills

@@thereissomecoolstuff Haha, thanks buddy! The only flyable F-4 in the YS is owned by Collings Foundation and it’s in Houston

@@ErikJohnston if you're ever down that way, a walkaround would look good on your channel hint hint ;-)
