Out of all the washing machines you've used, how do you feel about this one?

I like the flexibility of it and the styling is very smart. The touchscreen display is very intuitive too. I’d have to mark it down for the poor reliability of it and the matching dryer, and I wouldn’t want to have paid full price for either of them. The express and quick power wash programmes are poorly executed too - if it wasn’t for the single wash option (which is a good “hack” for a quick cycle as it’ll use more water for a larger load) there would be no decent cycle around the 1 hour mark. For the price I paid for it, I’d rate it at 8/10.

Do you know which parts of the suspension have been changed? (Springs / shock absorbers ?)

Thanks for commenting :) I think it’s 85° from memory but I will test with the probe next time I do a boil wash. I don’t really have the need to wash over 60 so I rarely use 90, but it does reach 30, 40 and 60° precisely on the dot.

@@JIMDP25 I have had problem with the springs on the first machine, the second machine had springs issue, power wash pump was noisy and then finally the drum needed replacing and not long after twindos leaked all through the bottom and the machine rusted and the leak sensor came on. I received my 3rd machine since 2019 last month for replacement as Miele won’t give refund and I have been using it now for 1 month and no issues finally. However to have 2 faulty machine is very bad… this third one though no problem at all so far. I haven’t put the twin dos into the machine though. Just use small amount of power as I don’t want the twindos to maybe leak again or any more issues.

I’ve had the suspension legs, door lock, twin dos sensor, and two electronic boards replaced on mine. I’m on the third matching T1 dryer too. Thankfully the washer is still under its ten year warranty, nowadays they only give two which puts me off the newer ones.

Thanks. I’m generally pleased with it, it’s nice and flexible but I do prefer the Siemens for rinsing and spinning. It’s had a few parts replaced, but since that and the latest software update it’s not been too bad :)
