53:13 i'm glad that was addressed because from playing this on consul as a kid i was wondering why he wasn't focusing down those missile turrets with fervent zeal and why the beep beeps didn't mean certain death.

Thanks for putting this up. Brings back memories. I got so good at this I'd do things like earn a "Black Medal" by shooting down all my friends, or to see if I could get killed by having a TIE bomber drop a bomb on me (it's hard to do and it's instant death). I also liked playing as a TIE, Millennium Falcon or chicken walker.

Bug on PC version, probably framerate-related

great playing, lots of nostalgia with this game. The PC version runs much better than the N64....N64 is hard to come back to with the low frame rate and a loose analog stick

I, too, had a copy of this on PC as a kid. It's familiar up until after the defection mission. Can't say that I beat many beyond the Tatooine mission, but flying around was fun. And the snowspeeder stuff got me too.

Why is there someone trying to sleep in the right corner lol?

This was my first game ever. Shortly followed by the Mortal Kombat 4 and Virtua Cop 2. We had such a great palette of games back then, now it s mostly about money.

Nice! But I just wanna point out that you did _not_ get a gold medal in the last level, your accuracy was off XD

Recently played through this on the N64 with a mate trying to get all golds, Fest seems so much harder; the small tanks take soooo much dmg to kill compared to this version it's outrageous, also turrets in this version seem to avoid you a lot.

The wheels fell off at 50mins

What annoys me the most about the airspeeder is the limitation on roll and pitch. The camera angles on the AT-AT sections are, of course, utter bullshit. What's more, the behind-the-ship cameras are borderline unusable because the camera often just can't keep up with the ship and ends up effectively stuck in a completely different part of the level. Fun. I guess that's one reason why you're using the roof camera, aside from the fact that the reticule stays put. Any reason why you're not coupling the X-Wing's blasters when shooting at turrets? The average firing rate should be the same (correct me if I'm wrong), and since turrets take multiples of 4 hits to destroy, it gets rid of the risk of shooting individual shots through a destroyed target which improves the average accuracy. Edit: Reading this comment back, it sounds pretty negative. I love the game and I love this run!

Lol he actually didn't get gold on Hoth either. Accuracy was off.

Believe it or not that was N64 exclusive! The cheat code on PC lets you use the AT-ST in any level, rather than its own specific one. Thing is a *nightmare* to drive with a keyboard/mouse.
