I was flying from Iceland to America last year when I saw Greenland for the first time from the airplane. It was such a clear day that I could see the icebergs go deep into the water and the most amazing landscapes I’ve ever seen in my life. Greenland is someplace I would love to visit so thank you for sharing!

I just spent my first winter in fairbanks alaska and we barely got maybe 2-3 hours of sun here and moving from california it was reeeaaally difficult on my mental health. It did improve once i started taking vitamin D suppliments but it really isnt for everyone. But now in the end of may the sun never fully goes down so its almost the opposite which is nice haha. Also being under -40 for like 2 weeks strait was something different too. Thats a different type of cold because the humidity is so low so when you step outside initially it doesnt even feel like its below maybe 20 out but after a few a minute or 2 its a whole different animal.

From experience, in winter I suggest you keep lights on around the house and keep work places well lit. If you use LED lighting it won't cost much and it helps to offset the lack of sunlight. I'm writing this in late autumn in "sunny" Australia where heavy clouds are blocking the sun. I have lights on in the house 18 hours a day when it's cloudy.
