You can mix it with coconut oil or even just olive oil. The olive oil would be a "looser" blend. You could even use any skin safe oil and melt a little beeswax into it to thicken it up a bit if you want to go that route. I love that you want to make something for your husband with them 💖

Thank you for those suggestions! I have so many of these salts, I will have to play around with it to see what he likes best!!

I know this is an old video, but I would definitely contact them about the potential mold. They'd be able to verify if that's what it's meant to look like, and replace it if it doesn't. I think simply stirring the salts with liquified coconut oil would make an awesome exfoliant once it sets up. I would only use it on the body, as the salt grains might be a bit too harsh for the face or delicate areas, but thanks for the awesome idea, I'm totally going to try that! I was also thinking that you could use them as threshold protection salts, that way you wouldn't have to smell them. My daughter has a severe fear of spiders. We used to live in a place that had these jumping wolf spiders everywhere (I thought they were cute, but I used to catch wild tarantulas to keep as pets in So. Cal.). My daughter was about 5 and playing in our above ground pool (which the little guys used to love hanging out on the side of). A small spider jumped into her fluffy golden locks, and it was hard for me to even find it to remove it. Naturally, that was traumatizing. Imagine a scary bug getting into your hair, and you can't even find it to shake it out. She's 19 now, and I still don't use spider decorations for Samhain/Halloween. Luckily, she doesn't mind the webs 🕸. I'll check out your Etsy shop! Where do you get your beads from? I've used Fire Mountain Gems in the past, I know they sell like basically every type of stone you could ever want, but they aren't cheap, which is why I'm asking. Thanks for the video 🥰!

I'm sorry you weren't into the scents and decor in this box. I'm also not a fan of heavy florals or spiders. I did think it was cool that your chalice was more bronze. But I agree, this box wouldn't have been for me, and I would have been sad, since Beltane is my favorite Sabbat.

I feel like I got WAY too much Ostara stuff and have hardly anything for Beltane LOL. Thankfully, though, my brother in law really liked the chalice and he doesn't often get things for practicing his craft, so I feel really good about sending him something. :)

Your cork bottom def looks more "poofed" out than mine....
