I absolutely adored this idea of different languages, never seen anything like this and It's just mindblowing. I listened 6 times just to hear every single version and loved all of them. Fighting, MIDNATT!

For those confused: From what I could gather, MIDNATT is BigHit artist Lee Hyun's 'alter ego' (or basically a rebrand). MIDNATT is also an AI project, that's for sure, but Lee Hyun for real sang the Korean track. The AI part is used to clone his voice and adjust pronunciations, so that the song can be sung in other languages. With Lee Hyun's blessing, MIDNATT is a go. If you like MIDNATT but you're against AI, I suggest listening to the Korean version only. Lee Hyun has a beautiful voice and if you'd like, do check out his other songs (with HOMME, 8Eight and as a solo artist). For starters, listen to 'You Are Here' from the BTS World OST! Here's to hoping that AI will not be used for BTS and TXT. Let their real voices shine! Let me know if I'm missing anything or got anything wrong, I'll update! You misunderstood the article. They used Lee Hyun's voice as dataset to mix with a native-speaking narrator. Look up Bruno Mars' AI Hype Boy cover to understand this concept. Bruno Mars clearly cannot sing Korean that fluently but his voice data mixed with a Korean-speaking singer's cover to make it seem that he can.

AI and technology is used everywhere and it will be continue to be advanced and used more in future for various purposes. The technology is not the problem but how people uses it. Here, it is used to enhance / make the MV and to correct MIDNATT’s pronunciation (and for the female voice, which is cool. FYI AI voice has existed for a long time eg in japan, think Miku). This debut mv is such a masterpiece of technique and effects, totally different from those of bts, seventeen etc, it truly shows how much big hit and hybe has grown because of them. But this is not a debut album. This is just the alter ego of Lee Hyun (39yrs old) (Midnatt).Just like Suga's alter ego AgustD. And he is the only soloist in Bighit Entertainment who debuted in 2007 and former member of co-ed vocal trio group 8Eight. They disbanded in 2014 as their contract ended and become a soloist in Bighit. He is basically a 2nd gen singer. He is specialised in Ballad and R&B. This is the first time he is trying something new, something new gen.

La voz es la de Lee Hyun, y todavía no entiendo muy bien el proyecto pero al parecer es una AI que genera la canción en varios idiomas.

I love the way HYBE decided to use the AI! Not to replace artists or have a virtual artist but to help correct the artists pronunciation in 6 languages so people all over the world can connect better with the song!!!
