My favourite thing is to experiment with different materials and see what "style" falls out naturally. Every material has a latent, implicit style of its own which is affected by the context it is placed in. I've been doing this for two years now and it invariably gives results that are quite unique. I have a few favourite "special sauce" materials which I use a lot because they are quite fecund and versatile. Physical forces eg. electricity are also important to my work. The combination of materials and forces is key.

Excellent work Thaeyne! I think that knight related mosaics are so good that they deserve further investigation. Maybe a few chivalric terms matched with some suitable styles, starting with mosaic, but also perhaps also stained glass, gemstone painting and mandala to see how each compares? What do you think?

How would you define the difference between "...punk" and "...core"? Does "...punk" imply a greater level of rebellion or animosity which "...core" lacks?

I noticed in the Alpha site that they set the default chaos/variety @ 30. It might be worth experimenting with prompts using a lower --c value if you're after more consistency. They seem to be mixing things up on a daily basis.

I did a quick image search on it and that could indeed be the case why it looks the way it does. It certainly explains the top-down views.

Watched the video and still don't understand how to use this.

Where do you find images seed number?

You can either specify and select it yourself when you prompt with --seed NUMBER parameter. Or you can go and react to your image in Discord with an envelope emoji and you will receive a private message from the Midjourney bot with the seed number. There seems to be a place on the website when you are in the image view, then under 3 dots you will see a menu and if you click on copy, there is a place for seed. But I just tested that option and it doesn't seem to work at the moment.
