Me too. I lived then in the USSR and we had censorship for Western music, but I was looking for music on the radio and listening to hit parades, and when I heard Ultravox I was very surprised. it was unusual music and songs that are not like all the others. I'm also 57 and I love listening to Ultravox Midge Ure.

Not many artists from the 70's and 80's still own their original voice. Mr Ure, is one of the rare ones.

Loved Ultravox when I was growing up, they had some cracking tunes. Funny with world events how these songs take on a greater significance. Go on and gie it laldy Midge...you're doin' great!.

Midge Ure is born Scottish I agree with you, but, after all this years of perfect art he shares with us, he became an international pop star, because of his sincerity and his dedication in what he's doing; as a Moroccan, I love his music , and I appreciates his participation in the charity acts, like for example Live Aid for Africa in the 80's, with his friend Bob Geldof.

Wow!! The voice is so similiar to 1985. What a natural talent. Love it!!!!!!!!!

I love this Midge and this song! What an amazing talented man! From playing guitar with Thin Lizzie, part of the duo that brought us Live Aid and Band Aid, and Ultravox. You get the idea - HE IS AMAZING!

Backing vocals are part of arrangements. None song has only one voice. Songs have first, third and fiith voice tones arrangements. Final mix make the way you listen to them.

This is marvellous - still sounds fresh!

Next to Sean Connery and Billy Connolly this man has to be the best export from Scotland.

I am sure it wasn't indented, as the host, "Leslie Mandoky" is just too uneducated to understand the differences between the concepts of being English, British, or Scottish. His "international career" started as a moustached eastern european "break dancer" clown of sorts in an act called Dzinghis Khan, look it up. Kind of a poor man's Boney M. Obviously Midge did notice it but shrugged it off, class act.
