Midge is so painfully underrated. She deserves more love and attention, she was so unique. She has the girl next door good looks that were not really appreciated back then.

This is what I call the Barbie/Midge complex. Of course the pretty, popular girl is going to have a plain best friend. No competition for Barbie.

I love the redhead “titian” pronounced, (tee-shun) Midge we would dress her in the servant outfits like, “Babysitter” or “Barbie-Q.” “Sophisticated Lady” is my favorite outfit! Wait, bald Midge is actually a “Fashion Queen”, isn’t it? Love it, keep It up!

Movie Date didn't come with a hat. The hend leg Midge came with the Bob Haircut. Three colors of hair. The Wig Wardrobe Midge was just a head with three wigs. You could put the head on any Barbie body.

At around 8:54 you have a midge that you think that her hair is cut by somebody, but she is a factory made alternate hairstyle for the bend leg era which is like a bubble bob cut that was popular in 1965. Your doll just happens to be on a straight leg body as is mine. The big give away that its a bend leg midge head is that you cannot at all give her the classic midge flip no matter what you do it will always curl under.

Ok... I have a question... I have one of those wire stands, but and one of my vintage Barbie's on it (a bubble cut brunette) but her feet are pretty dar off the ground, and I was wondering if maybe the stand is for a vintage Ken?
