their chemistry is so amazing. they are setting up the beginning of the end for lenny and i'm not ready

I teeter on this ship. On one hand, in respect to Midge's career and independence, I know Lenny could be a supportive and balancing partner. I don't get the impression she would be the same for him. She could be but I don't think Lenny would let her. Then there's the dark looming cloud that is going to wreck me emotionally......weather they are good friends or more is really beside the point. I just love every scene they have together. ........thanks for the edit, it was lovely.

this.. Midge told us who she was from the beginning.. and she plan everything.. i dont think Lenny is someone she could plan for or make plans for which is what she did with Joel... and that might be good for her .. but yeah since season 1 i was invested in them friendship or whatever they are magic together

How hard it must be to play a real life doomed character. You know how it ends, but you have to play it out. Hats off and all the awards!

I love the care they have taken in portraying Lenny, especially in the 1st season where they do a line for line recreation of one of his actual sets... THAT really impressed me. However, while the show is taking some creative liberty with Lenny's life, the fact that they have been soo painstakingly accurate in areas where they can be can only mean one thing... This is going to end in tragedy. We may not have a crystal ball to predict the future of the show, but we do know Lenny dies in 1966 from a Morphine overdose. My thoughts are, the most recent episode is setting up this plotline of Lenny's duality.

@@promisedxxedits6746 oh no.. i felt that honestly… this season has felt like it’s a set up for the next. (As in, Mei being pregnant, Lenny, Midges career etc.)

I really hope they never get to that point.....I wish they can go around it.... touching bits where we understand what is going to happen....but never to that exact point. Midge's heart will most certainly break. It'll be a lot for us to take.

@@no1caresss they are going to hook up. I think it might be left as ambiguous in respect to the to Bruce estate (like a bunch of historical characters in a series based around the area) but if I don’t get at least a kiss I am going to riot
