There is nothing better then sitting on the side of the canal on a sunny day waiting for the float to go under. But sometime it is way to hard to bring all the gear when you have two kids and a dog in tow. So Middy have made a light weight short pole that is ready to use out of the packet, all you do is add the bait.
So if you want to pass on the enjoyment of finding tight lines to your little guys, this is an easy to use, inexpensive option that for a young beginner.

Hi Dan - The non elsatcated tip has a slit for the loop to be added, but the elasticated red and yellow sectons just a hole for the loop? how did you tie the rig to the red elasticated section?

Did yours not come with flick tip connectors already installed? It should be ready to fish with as a kit.
Hi mate just brought this whip, was just wondering how the butt comes off, does it screw off or do you just pull it off, don't want to break it. Cheers.

Hi mate. The very back peice which is only about a half meter is push fit I think. The rest a telescopic
Can you make the whip shorter?

Yes you just take the back sections off.
You should use a net. You can tear the lips by dead weighting bigger fish. Other then that great video.

Thanks for that. Well perch are surprisingly hollow so despite it being a whopper it was quite light. If you watch Bob nudd 4x world champion, he always swings fish this size and maybe bigger to hand. Good to see you are conserned about the wild life tho. 👍
