Fair play to Blackpool, loudest away fans we’ve had all season so well done to their fans. Hope they stay up, believe there are two crucial six pointers coming up which may be decisive. But who knows in this league? Good to see Rob Nicholls, had one of my articles in this month’s edition.

We need strikers who can finish, we haven’t got the firepower to escape relegation, alarm bells have been ringing for 18 months ref needing a goal scorer, Sadler only has himself to blame when we go down, league 1 investment = league 1 football.

Yes somehow we need to find Championship quality players on a shoe string and that isn't easy because the Championship is full of teams with huge budgets and parachute payments which is why we achieved a miracle under Holloway

Yes you looked good. He blew it last night not starting Bowler or Poveda against a Huddersfield side that looked like rabbits caught in headlights until we gifted them the 1st then Madine sent off and even with 10 men we had them on thr ropes 2nd half and came back twice. Dropped 2 points but we did amazing with 10!

The most important thing is you didnt lose and a point should act as a good foundation, need a few clean sheets to kick on, plenty of games left. Hi Mia, unfortunately bad luck is becoming the "theme' of the season and when you are going down it is usually all goes against you (which is the worry)

Great video again by you both but am sorry for the result. Good goals by Middlesbrough and a good chance to pull one back by Yates. Hope that the new manager can turn things around for the team and help us to stay up in the championship, a real challenge for him especially as Sadler is not buying any players and relying on loan players. Yes we heard that it is bad in there but that is a shame I love it when they bring old buildings back to life! The Prince of Wales Theatre where we saw The Book of Mormon last year when we played Fulham (you can see it in our Football Tourist Guide to London video) was stunning inside

As a neutral at the game as i couldn’t make it to the barrow game due to the coach being cancelled i thought Blackpool fans were class even 3-0 still making loads of noise and you lot created some really good chances just couldn’t take them as well as you should’ve really but i’ll definitely be doing an away game with Blackpool again

Your video cheers me up. Perhaps it's the sight of fellow sufferers. Need to recall Dougall for Patino; include Bowler, Poveda and Rogers as I think they are the people most likely to create goals; and switch to a back four if that's necessary to allow Bowler to play in his best position. It would help if Huddersfield had a couple of players sent off.

Great vlog Lee !!! I think you you have enough quality to stay up. Not just saying that I really think you do. Big Mick has managed Millwall , Rep Ireland, Sunderland , Wolves and he really knows what he is doing. Take the points of the teams around you and before you know it your 8th from bottom. Yes you could feel the crowd really getting behind Mick and the lads just a shame the goal was offside and we hit the crossbar and blazed over because if one of two of them had gone in I think it may have gone differently because the volume would have gone up and the Blackpool fans were getting into full swing but the 2 goals threw water on it

Boro fan here. Unfortunately for you guys we're flying at the moment and playing some great football so it was always going to be a big ask to get anything out of the game, but you did play fairly well at times and were unlucky not to score. Great fans and nowhere near the worst side we've played this season - im sure if you keep putting in performances like that you'll have decent chance of staying up. Always had a soft spot for the Tangerines and would really like you guys to still be in the Champo next season. Theres still plenty of points to play for and I really wish you all the best for the rest of the season. Big respect to Blackpool, really hope Mick starts getting some points on the board for you lot. 👍👍👍

I enjoy your content when we play you. And you are right about our PA it is terrible and you can barely talk to the person next to you. Thought your supporters were really good and keep supporting no matter what the score is. Hope you stay up and results improve for the rest of the season. That's all down to lack of confidence which we clearly are at the moment next 2 games are of much more importance lose them and we are 💯 in big trouble

Blackpool have some quality in the final third, and a match fit Josh Bowler could be the difference maker in a basement battle. With Huddersfield at home, followed by Rotherham, Mick McCarthy needs to get your boys on the front foot, get the crowd up and get something going. Playing to your strengths would weaponise Bloomfield Road. A little momentum and your home crowd could be the clincher.

I wasn’t surprised by the result Lee. Not too many positives to take away from the game, but we do look more organized in defense and they did look more dangerous in set plays. The midfield area again is non existent for me and if they do get relegated that would be the major reason for me. Of course, there’s a massive game coming up on Tuesday. I hate saying it’s a must win game, but it really is. Hopefully they can get the 3 points we desperately need. Great work as always Lee!

yeah same old story really wasnt it yesterday. just cant score goals or keep clean sheets and opposition teams just always look miles better, hopefully mick can get it right in the end but the way were setting up at the minute is all wrong. cant be playing the likes of CJ at wing back, im not a fan of 5 at the back full stop if im being honest. i do agree lee staying up does now look a tricky task, what if the next two games we only get one or two points then what? we just lack too much quality in midfield and upfront still. long 18 games ahead but lets see what we can do. im not giving up hope i just think were up against it and need to turn it around fairly quickly

I think Blackpool will get back to winning ways against Huddersfield in the championship this Tuesday night and I think Blackpool will beat Huddersfield 4 - 1 lee and Jane

Boro Chris here Lee, just getting my hearing back from the blonde lass behind you In the away end enjoying herself ha ha. I did try & warn you about Mad Mick. He came for a point and nullified you completely going forward. He is yesterday's man and I fear for you if he is going to try and defend his way out as Blackpool scored goals last season & you looked a threat but not now under Appleton & Mccarthy and when you do get a sniff you press the panic button. Sumptuous goal by Akpom & hope you noticed the slicker faster Boro as Carrick wants one touch pass and move football & its working well and players have desire and aggression and a will to win. Not this tippy tappy nonsense playing it around at the back. I don't we will finish 2nd but a play off place for a new manager taking over with us below you 2nd bottom would be brilliant. The PA system sounds louder in the East Stand where you were is a hell of a lot louder than it is in the South Stand where I go with my nephew when I am well near the guy waving the flag all game. I think the loudest person was the blonde lass behind you ha ha but it was nice to hear hers & your passion as always. Mccarthy has to change his tactics as the only way you are staying up is to get goals & then hold on. I don't think you are capable of defending for 90 minutes. You have gotta be looking at winnings games 3-2 not sneaking a 1-0. You haven't got a strong enough midfield but if you can score a few set pieces like the one that hit the bar you might have half a chance but Mccarthy is dreaming if he thinks you can defend your way out of trouble. You played some attractive stuff under Critchley and you need to have more faith in those players as I couldn't believe he left Poveda out and go for goals or you are doomed Lee & I won't get the chance to meet you next season. It was hard watching you their at the Riverside as i so wanted to come and say hello but not well enough for big crowds yet but getting there hopefully. Great video as always and better coverage than the sky highlights on the game so thankyou again. Hoping for 3 pts for you next week. Crucial week for us as we play Cardiff away next Saturday then Sheff Utd away. If we win them 2 the dream of overhauling Sheff Utd is on but I think we might fall short even then. We are playing some lovely stuff under Carrick & hope we grab at least a play off place. All the best Lee & Jane. I think you could be this years Forest got off to a bad start sacked their manager and got better and better as the season went on. Yep we are in trouble I will let you know my thoughts after the next 2 home games if we set up 'not to lose' in those games then we are quite frankly...DOOMED!!!

Ohhh wish you hadn't said that about Forest Lee as they started there run from 2nd bottom too but we couldn't of dreamnt to be where we are now from when we beat you at Bloomfield Road. Carrick has just got the whole team passing and moving with one tough quick paced football. Don't stand there admiring your pass, keep moving to pick up the next one. That's what he said to them in his 1st training session that was filmed by Boro's website & from that day we are so motivated & full of desire & will to win & keep doing better and its working and who wouldn't want to play & listen to a man with 18 top honours as a player. You have been hailed amongst Boro fans and my nephew who was there as being the loudest and best away support this season so hopefully that support could be worth an extra man especially at home. Here's to at least one win for you out of these 2 home games. Boro Chris, UTB!

I really hope you can find a way out of this and stay up but at the moment I really worry for you

I make that 10 straight defeats for McCarthy (his last 8 in charge at Cardiff and these 2) not exactly confidence inspiring .must win tomorrow and Saturday to have a decent chance of preserving our championship status

I get the feeling Bardfield is being sarcastic 😉 I thought 1st half we were not at the races and Boro dominated but 2nd half we had some great chances and didn't take them (as per usual) and we simply were poor defensively conceding from a corner (yet again) and letting them walk through us for the 2nd. However on balance of play they were simply better and playing with a confidence that we cannot find at the moment (which needs to be found quickly if we are to stand any chance of staying up)

Not been funny have u seen blackpools away facilities least u can get a warm inside instead of stood outside no shelter and using portaloos with no toilet paper /soap or hot water

Difficult day today Lee, we are in great form at the moment but you are better than some of those teams around you. It's not the best time to be changing managers as he needs to get on it pretty quickly. We must now be thinking of creating a strong strong squad for next season’s promotion push from Championship 1.We all knew that the second season without investment would lead to relegation 😞UTMP.

Yep the summer was a disaster from Critch leaving to the appointment of Appleton to losing key players to making 1 signing to then getting loads of injuries and sendings off the season so far has been a total fork up! can we get out of this mess? I'm not confident at the moment

Thanks Craig, We needed 3 points today desperately today but Rotherham through everything they had into stopping us, a marginal offside goal (like millimetres marginal) Tom Trybull (another January singing) off with a hammy the luck is just not with us sadly
