I know this has happened to a lot of people. A couple of this scenarios have happened to me. Peed myself in school Had my period The period one I remember I was going home from school and I stopped by my cousin’s house and I was squatting and his grandfather was there and he was like “oh, you’re bleeding” it was something like that I don’t remember what he said but he was the one who told me I was so embarrassed I don’t remember if I took a shower there or went home I do have to say I was between 9-11 years old I think I got my period when I was 10 so yeah and I lived in my country until I was 11 so I guess 10-11 years old idk

I’m going into 8th grade now and I am actually (believe it or not) LOVING middle school. One thing that I saw someone say was “it’s not embarrassing unless if you make it embarrassing” meaning that if you act like it wasn’t embarrassing or embrace what happened, it most likely won’t be embarrassing. I know that it is definitely hard for most people to switch into that mindset but trust me, your whole life will change afterwards!

Me too! I had a, traumatic, end to sixth grade, and was homeschooled seventh. I moved back to my hometown, and started eighth and this is MY YEAR! I'm having the time of my life lol. (It's only the second day)

A trick I use when it comes to embarrassment and anxiety over what other people might think of me is "do I go home and think about what small thing this other person did? No? Then chances are they aren't thinking about me". Also if it has to do with being around strangers, I tell myself "I will probably never see this person again and never know what they think of me, so it doesn't affect my life"

I’m the 6th grade, we were playing dodgeball (have never had my period. Keep that in mind) and a guy threw a ball STRAIGHT AT MY UTERUS! Suddenly I started bleeding. Oh dont worry about that, ive walked into the wrong class several times for different reasons, whether i came in late and they changed the schedule and I didn’t know, my brain stopped working, ive gon to the class i normally have at whatever time before forgetting its switched up, my brain stops working out of exhaustion and i walk into the wrong class that i at least have just mot that day, ive even gotten lost before somehow in a school ive had three tours of before i even started going to do the school plus another one once i started going to the school. In my school ive probably walked into the wrong class by accident more than anyone else. I dont think those day will ever stop haunting me

3rd grade math is where you move on to a lot of new forms of math, i get it. i was the best in my class but in a certain activity some people were on division and i was on hard multiplication. some people even moved on to addition but short amount of time

I feel you! 😭 Once, I walked into a class of seniors ( I was a freshman ) and just sat down like I owned the place. Some of the girls asked if I was new or something and thats when I realised that I was in the wrong class- 💀 The teacher made like 2 students ( Idk why it had to be more than 1 I was a small ass shy kid ) walk me back to class and they said they were actually happy cuz they get to skip class for a bit, so ig it all worked out in the end.

One time I think in fourth or fifth grade, I was supposed to be in my reading class. Shortly into the lesson, I had to go to the bathroom, so off I went. On my way back, I walked into my homeroom class, which was... Not where I was supposed to be. Everybody turns to look at me, students and teacher included, and I quickly come up with the excuse that I left something in my desk. Ran over, rummaged around a bit, and I think I ended up just grabbing another pencil or something before skedaddling back to my actual class.

When I was in 7th grade I decided to wear white pants. I got my first period and nobody told me until I got home and got undressed :,).

In 5th grade we had an end of the year banquet. At that banquet we had a talent show. My friend and i decided to sing drivers license at the banquet. We started off pretty bad with me coughing cuz i was kinda sick and us both laughing cuz we were embarrassed. We had the DJ play music in the background and it had back up singers! So they say FU** and it gets even WORST! A teacher starts waving her hands in the air and then everybody follows! My dad said everyone would forget about it, and they did... until 1 girl see's me in 6th grade and asks if i was "that girl from 5th grade who sung at the banquet"😳... "yea" I was so embarrassed!

In elementary school I got called down to the guidance counselor and she didn't do shit she was horrible, anyways she accused me and my sister of being suicidal and believed rumors going around that I was because some one reported it, but it was really my best friend. It was basically a misunderstanding during field day she went up to a bully that bullied us and told my sister to say that she's suicidal for some reason to the bully and I guess the bully thought it was me and told. Edit: my best friend no longer my best friend though. It's all good though although I hated that guidance counselor.

Ignoring the trend to brush eyebrows up specifically, people also brush through their brows with gel sometimes to lay them the way they like and then the gel will dry and ensure they don’t get messed up or move throughout the day. You can brush them up, down (popular to do in Korea), to the side, or do whatever to make them look how you want

Are you talking about mascara? It makes your eyelashes look darker and bolder. The spiciness is actually helpful to define them into more of a shape. This gives your eye a more open and full look! Putting any sort of thin black line around your eye creates contrast which makes your eyes pop out- it accentuates them :)) Edit: you totally said eyebrow and I read it as eyelash- my bad lol I have no clue why they do that haha

I’m going to be honest, middle school was terrible, but it was just because of the school I went to. The staff and people there were terrible and I had to go to a different school, the thing is when I went to that school everything was better, people were nicer and the staff didn’t blame me all the time. I think it just really depends on how the people around you act. If you find a good friend group then middle school will be a piece of cake, I think you’ll do great!

My middle school made trapperkeepers mandatory and my family couldn't afford the high quality ones. Needless to say about once a week I'd walk into class late, holding all of my things because they fell out of the thingy. The zipper never held, the clip thingy never clipped and my notebooks always hit the floor.

Reminds me of a month ago when I fell asleep in 3rd and woke up thinking it was still 3rd, until I realized I was now supposed to be in ELA, not Floral Design anymore. Had to book it all the way across campus and was 15 minutes late for 4th😂

Something similar happened to me in 6th grade. I would barely get enough sleep and I slept in 3rd period during a movie. When I woke up I realized no one was in the class and it was passing period. Someone else was sleeping too (I think) I got my stuff and ran to my 4th period. It was kinda far.

Something similar has also happened to me in 6th grade as well. It was state testing and I finished early so I went to sleep I woke just as the bell rang and had to hurry and pack my stuff up, I slept through a Blooket and I think a work packet and no one even tried to wake me up.

And for the rest off the day people were making fun of me but now I’m ok😂😂😂😂😂

A couple days ago I had promoted from 6th grade and now I attend summer school to prep me up for 7th grade yesterday when taking gym class the lady was speaking and I just lay back and I fall back in the seat and my friend kinda pushed me trying to help me up cause when she was seeing me fall back her hand pushed me a little and her hand went I think behind my back and I still had fallen and I got a little embarrassed and people were just looking at me😭

I wish my teacher did that 😭

I went into a science class by accident once when I was supposed to be in my history class.. so my teacher said it was fine that I could just swap back the next day!

I go to a private school so I know everyone in the class and there’s only 400 people

Bro I’m going to 9th grade and I have a story. I’m pretty sure it was the 2nd or 3rd day of school and we were playing this or that in my classroom and my teacher had a humidifier (I’m pretty sure) and we had to go to one side of the classroom or the other and pretty much I was wearing bell bottom jeans and I ended up tripping landing on the humidifier and I was friends with this girl (we’re no longer friends) and after that she wouldn’t live it down 😭✌🏽

To people going into middle school don’t sweat it it might be embarrassing but everyone else is too focused on embarrassing stuff their doing to even notice you 6th grade year was the best year of my life treasure it while you can

Something similar happened to me in elementary school (I think). I had problems with math too so I had to go to a different room and have a different teacher. My main teacher came up to me first thing and told me to bring something to my math teacher. What she meant to say was, "when you're supposed to go to the math teacher, bring this with you. " she didn't say that. What she said was, "bring this to yiur math teacher." The math teacher hadn't even gotten to her room yet and I was standing at the door. She had to bring me back to my classroom and get clarification.

Middle school was the worst 💀

It was my first year of middle school and the end of 2nd quarter was the first time I used the bathroom in science my math was in the same hallway and I accidentally walked back to my math class instead of my science and a kid opened the door and I realized it was the wrong class and kids started laughing and I walked back to my class...

I did that the first day of 7th grade too!! It was my teacher's prep hour too so it was just me and one other boy that ended up in the wrong place too and the teacher and eventually the teacher realized that it was her prep so we both had to check our schedules and we were supposed to be in the same class so we just like awkwardly walked to class together and the teacher that we were supposed to be at just raised his eyebrows at us and goes "awww! A little couple!" 😭😭😭 I was mortified 💀 😂😂

LMAOOOOO this happened to me once, I couldn’t handle the embarrassment of saying I was in the wrong class. So I just left and went to the bathroom to re-evaluate my whole life then went to actual class 😭😂 it’s so funny when you start to look around and nobody looks familiar, or obviously you know them but definitely don’t have THAT class with them 😂

I walked into a younger year group/grade's class, and they all looked at me 😭 I was late and in a rush Worst part was Ion think they discovered deoderant yet 😂😭

Yes,very true.I'm in 6th grade going into 7th grade. And yes,I do get embarrassed a lot. And when I was talking to my crush because I asked him if he wanted to be friends,and THAT was embarrassing because I'm known for being quiet at school mostly.

Middle school was chaotic if not tragic. I’ve had so many embarrassing moments I can’t even count them all! Some of it sounds normal but I find insanely embarrassing and some are so embarrassing that I don’t even want to think about them. Honestly, most people worry more about their own personal embarrassment than others, so if you mess up, it’s okay, they’re not going to remember. It’s honestly just the person who is embarrassed that remembers it the most 😅 Example: I accidentally posted a video of me on my social media of me singing- I sing fairly decent so it wasn’t as bad BUT WHY I AM SO EMBARRASSED ABOUT IT 🥹 I DIDNT EVEN MEAN TO POST ITTTTTT

oh girl I feel you 😭 I didn’t get exposed but I was kicking a volleyball and I fell so hard in the middle of the field in like a sexy position on accident and all the boys started moaning. I was all muddy too and my crush was right there 😭😭

Thank you so much! When I was in 6th grade I was still in my unicorn phase and sometimes I worry that I’m not the only one who remembers it. But this was the reminder I needed to know that no one else probably remembers!💜

whenever something embarrassing happens to me i always remind myself "it's only embarrassing if you're embarrassed."

That’s actually really nice I’m autistic and have ADHD so I’m constantly forgetting things EVEN if I write them down, keep a planner, or set reminders My life is just chaotic. I do at least 1 embarrassing thing daily and though some days are better than others my social anxiety and rejection sensitive dysphoria can be pretty terrible. It’s nice to know people don’t care as much as I think they do.

I feel you. When I was in elementary I would constantly go to the wrong maths class.

for me personally, I moved to a new middle school when I was transferring to 7th grade and was like a new kid in a school where *EVERYONE* knew eachother bc they’ve been together since 4th grade. at first I was shy but I got better and made friends after my first day. I personally thought middle was really fun and created great memories for me. I still contact my friends to this day.

It’s weird that you would tell someone else something that happened to them isn’t embarrassing because you don’t know how they process stuff lol. The same thing happened to me and it was embarrassing for me.

I remember when i was in like.. 4th grade?? I had art lessons before my class, and in the art classroom there was no clock, so i was just trusting my intuition on which bell is when my classes start. So like, one day, i was sitting there, and i hear the bell ring, and then I HAVE NO IDEA WHY i felt like the bell was FOR ME and i immediately got up from my seat telling my teacher that im running late and stuff and stuff, i don't really remember why but i remember i brought my painting with me. I also don't remember if it was finished or not. But anyway, I'm like, running crazy in the halls, and for SOME REASON there's no kid that's my age in the hallway. No, NO ONE is in the hallway. When i usually end my art class it's still breaktime and lots of kids are running around. This time, i thought i was late and lessons already started, so that's why there's no one in. (Well, technically i was right) Soo, im like running up to my classroom, knocking like crazy as if it depends on my life if they open it or not, and a random guy who looks like a 9th grader opens the door. The whole class including their teacher is staring at me. Random girl with a huge ahh bag, holding a painting, panting, and randomly asking 'did the class already start!?' After that question the guy was looking at me for a while like "🧍‍♂️" cause poor man didn't know what to answer 😭😭 Then he said 'uuhhh, no???' when i think he finally understood what's going on, and immediately closed the door on me. Then i sat at the big window we had in the hallway, and as this girl said, i could «FEEL the heat from my red cheeks». So, then i sat for the remaining 40 or something minutes waiting for my class to start, while i could've been peacefully sitting in the art class peacefully painting my drawing 😭😭😭 [If it's a little confusing, here's a little explanation: so, the middle schoolers or high schoolers would have, i call it, «the first shift», and they would sit at a certain classroom. Then, the «second shift», the elementary students would come and sit in the classes where the older students were. So basically, my class and some grade 9 class shared the same classroom. And i came too early, their «shift» was not over yet. Gladly it was their last lesson so i didn't have to wait for too long.. i can't explain how happy i was to see my classmates outside from the window]

That mad eme feel so much better because whenever i do something embarrassing im always like "omg that was so cringe they might still be thinking of it" like a year later and when you said the last verse that made me feel way better tbh
