Mine was an olog beast, he killed me twice, broke my sword, I killed him, he came back, killed me again. Took over the fort then he finally fell atlast never to rise again. Until zog brought him back and he killed me again.

The Stich legit is an amazing character design and it's at least partially procedurally generated. The artists and model artists on this game absolutely went above and beyond on this game and I've replayed it dozens of times and their hard work really contributed to how this game is on the short list of infinitely replayable games I can just immerse myself in without ever touching any of the story content.

Forsaken/ Nameless One is basically a vigilante who seeks to punish the betrayers no matter who it is.

Greetings once more, friends! After nine weeks of work, I finally bring you Part 2 of Cheated Death quotes. There are 370 unique lines of dialogue said by 115 different captains in this video, including The Blade of Galadriel followers and Daz the Ripper. Which is your favorite captain? Sadly, Baz, Gaz and Zog didn't make it to the video as they seem unable to cheat death and just get replaced immediately (I tried for days). Akoth Slayer of the Dead doesn't have any unique dialogue so he isn't here either, and deranged captains were left out as all they do is repeat the same things over and over again. As for Tark-Slayer, he only has two CD quotes for some reason.

For these CD quotes videos I mostly used the game demo, which provides an easy way to reroll an entire region. This made it easier to find the captains I needed. For the quotes themselves, I used a trick I call **Time Travel** to "rewind" time in-game and make it so I can repeat the captain's return ambush multiple times.

It brings a video demonstrating the advantages and abilities of the captains and of each tribe, for example... there is one where the captain runs towards you, takes you by the legs, knocks you down and then punches you on the ground

I've been following for years and your content has always been absolutely top notch. It's astounding how passionate you are about this games and the work you put into your videos. I only can be thankful for such quality and dedication. Just wanted to remind you all this and say sincerely thank you, Uruks Hollow.

I mean, he's obsessed with either cutting people's limbs off or taking parts of them for some weird collection of 'prize' pieces. Getting bits of him taken away or feeling the bite of a blade probably doesn't faze him that much. Keep in mind a large number of Amputators/Collectors tend to appear missing one arm. So they already know what it feels like. As such, they can tell a clean cut from a butcher's apprentice, and while Talion didn't quite finish them, they seem to understand he gave them his best work, so to speak.

One of my favorite Uruk has always been the Tark Slayer. Left a lasting impression on me the first time I played the game. Started playing again because of your videos. Its incredible how much dialogue is dedicated into creating unique experiences for players!

When I started playing the game I got killed by thrak, an uruk that became a captain with the title: thrak the tark slayer, he always kept on coming back alive until I killed him for the foruth time and he left a deep imperssion on me.

​@@daoistneo7791 Had the same thing, except mine originally started as King-Slayer, then Tark Slayer, then he cheated death and killed me, becoming the Avenger. He was killed and resurrected in the last Zog mission. Was very unamused, because even with the high level difference, he was still tough as nails

The Ancient Ones are very rare for me as well. I've only had two, but that's it. First and third playthrough, I've only had one for each playthrough. Other times, I've never seen anymore.

I have to applaud the effort that went into this. It had to have taken ages. I figured Baz and Gaz wouldn't be able to cheat death because their deaths are the requirement for Daz to show up, but it surprises me that Zog won't show up again. So much for "The Eternal."

Oh man, how is it there is 2 hours worth of Cheated Death lines, but you only ever hear 10 minutes, and that 19 minutes is just the generic coming backs from the first video.

I know that the overlord speech is solely dependent on the tribe and past actions, but I'm not sure about the follower captains.

The loyalists who return from death are my favourite. There's so much joy to seeing that not only have they returned, but they know you cared about them and would have saved them if you could, so they've come back to serve you.

It's practical, as it can't be countered by any immunities. It also helps prevent unwanted personality changes. I was using arrows in a similar manner.

1. No you can't change orcs voices, but you can use another voice type (night-bringer) to create a stormbringer (I believe) 2. I think the only way to make olog-hai beast proof is to level them up 3. If a humiliation orc holds a point in a fortress they should kill you

is it possible to give an pretender decoy the specter scar? And does it change its armor not it's "tower" armor but the one on top like for example a black tribe chest armor

So, funny story... I had this one guy, he started as something else, then became Prak the Unashamed (fitting name, don't some of you agree?), and this guy... So, at first, I decided to recruit him because "damn, this guy's tough". After I did, he betrayed me a little bit after, so I decided to kill him. Nice and clean execution, simple enough. Well, he comes back to say hi, so I decide "Alright, I'll throw him off a cliff. That oughta do the job!" Now, for a while, I thought he was dead dead, until I was sneaking around this one camp, and heard these Orcs talking. "He should be ashamed, but he's not!" said one orc to another. "That's why the call him the Unashamed, you glob!" the other orc retorted. 'Course, I was already shitting bricks, because I knew immediately that they were talking about Prak. He managed to survive several sharp rocks hitting him on his way down into rough seas??? That's insane, even for an Uruk. So, when he came back around, I ended up being able to recruit him once more. He took some shaming (Iron Will is a bitch), but he's back with me. And this time, I plan to keep a short leash on the bastard.

I almost have every captain in nurnèn I just captured it and I need one more captain too have them all

In the end-game most of these unique personalities disappear.

Sad but true. I don't know why, it feels like there's a unique personality limit and that upsets me. Only say to really get em at that point is hope they're in online sieges or vendetta missions.. But sadly people are pathetic enough that they have to hack in some effectively immortal Uruks which then ruins the fun entirely.

There needs to be a mod to boost the chances of cheating death and unique scars

One time when I started a new game I found a orc called the Sickly he killed me a lot since I was playing on Gravewalker mode that time be soon became overlord and I killed him in the siege idk how but he died to poison when I was trying to drain some orcs for health after that and doing some orc hunting he returned as the Blight then he just kept coming back no matter how many times I killed him so I recruited him after a long time of shaming and getting killed by him I turned him Into one of my overlords but after losing the fort in the shadow wars and rescuing him he betrayed me when I was helping one of my other followers who then killed him for good

I want to see more of that work that just talks like he's a random dude and he doesn't know what he's doing

Forsaken/nameless seems to be like orc Batman.

Coming straight from SoM, im like 3 captians into the SoW story and so far 2 have had QTEs for them. I could barely ever get a last stand in SoM. Are there just a ton more qtes in SoW? If yes im just done with the game, its the opposite of fun to fail a qte becuase i haven't had a console since the ps2. SoM was super fun but i just cant with qtes.

BoG followers are not allowed to gain a new personality or title through actions other than deranging. This means Ar-Baruk cannot become the Stitch.
