Yes..very true"..Subaru 1600/1800 engines of the 80's have 4wd lo and hi straight forward"..put good rough or mud tyres and it will jump out and go forward"..tested successfully on the Brumby"..spare tyre in front..top of the engine"..great car to drive..take you anywhere"..

Standard version..1600 low roof"..top of range..1800 high roof"..today's versions have almost the same engines"..but with electronic switched..boosters and twin cam turbo's..lovely car"..trusted!..
