Love that you shared your favorite book from each month of this year so far! There are a couple months where I’m not sure if I could do that because I had several five stars 😳😂 I’m feeling like starting Yours Truly very soon, if you’re up for a re-read and want to do a buddy read, haha. And yay for already exceeding your reading goal, amazing! 🎉 Oh and I’m planning on reading Ove next month, can’t wait!

The audiobook literally just came in from Libby… so… I’d like to get to it ASAP 😂 Well I just started another (short) book so it will probably realistically be like two days until I can start Yours Truly! Just found you because I was trying to find anyone that did the mid year tag. I think you have a lovely and clear voice for describing books! Also - I read Cleopatra and Frankenstein last year and while I was surprised at how much I liked it (it was my kind of pretentious) - I agree that the end was jarring. I was not a fan of Cleo's "art". I have Nightbitch on my Summerween TBR and I am very excited to read it!

Ashley, this is absolutely so kind of you! I'm so glad you found my channel! Thank you for those kind words!!! I agree with you! I overall did really enjoy Cleopatra and Frankenstein but the ending just left me feeling empty and I did not like that - especially after everything we went through in the book! I really hope you love Nightbitch!!!! I rave about it still and I read it in January. A little surprise but next week I'll be working on a "reading feminine rage books" video that I'm sure would be right up your alley if you read books like Nightbitch!!!

Congrats for all the good things that happened for you in the first half of the year 🎉 I LOVE Yours Truly as well (I think the 3rd book in the "world" which is Just for the Summer? Am I wrong? You would probably know for sure since you read it 😂). The way I was so mad that I didn't get some filthy smut between Jacob and Bri because I love them SO much 😩. I absolutely ADORE them. I haven't read a lot of Fantasy books, would you say that fantasy books just are.. slow starts? That's how I'm feeling 😂

Aw, thanks so much, friend! You're correct! The third book in the "series" is JFTS. Jacob and Bri are the sweetest and I cannot wait to re-read these books one day. I think some fantasy books can start slow! I think it helps with the world building, but once you're immersed, they are fantastic!!!

Done & Dusted is a fun one, you should read it! It's less cowboy and more family drama haha

Understandable of you to be nervous to read My Year of Rest and Relaxation. I know people can either love or hate it. Personally, I really liked it even though the main character was terrible 😅
