The Seven Year Slip & I Who Have Never Known Men (based on your recommendations) are 2 of my faves so far this year! 😍 Also, The Count of Monte Cristo and the Lord of the Rings series 🙌🏽

Loved hearing about you reading year Léa! I've read so many great books so far this year that it's too hard to pick one. But some of them are The housekeeper and the professor by Yoko Agawa, The mad womens ball by Victoria Mas, Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell, Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare and Foster by Claire Keegan. Would recommend all if you've not read them yet!

I think I told you in another comment, but thanks to your first mention of "It Lasts Forever and Then It's Over" I bought it immediately. I've read it and... wow. I mean... *WOW* It is so unique and the writing in this - extraordinary. I think this was within the first few pages but this... *this* !! : *_𝑀𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑛𝑜 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒. 𝑃𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑎 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑒𝑡. I can feel heavy emotion but I think I have cried over a book like twice in my life, idk why 🤣 Oh my gosh the HotD cast has taken over my life and I have no interest nor have ever watched the show 😅😅😅😅😅 My favorite books of the year so far are Where the Dark Stands Still, The Scarlet Alchemist, and The King and Vi!

Such a nice video! I really adore this book tag too! Since I think we have a similar reading taste, I definitely need to read It lasts forever, and then it's over - it sounds like a phenomenal book for me, and I feel that I would love it too. As far as my faves go, that's undoubtedly: Maps of our spectacular bodies by Maddie Mortimer, The Promise by Damon Galgut, Trust by Hernan Diaz, Cleopatra ans Franeknstein by Coco Mellors, Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell and Ordinary human failings by Megan Nolan 💖 I highly recommend all of them ✨ My most anticipated books are for sure Lady Macbeth and yours one fave Our wives under the see - the polish version is going to be available in autumn - can't wait 🤍
