Best books: "A Master of Djinn" - P. Djeli Clark, "The Tainted Cup" - Robert Jackson Bennett Best sequel: "Mirrored Heavens" - Rebecca Roanhorse Biggest surprises: "Witch King" - Martha Wells "Annihilation" - Jeff VanderMeer Dissapointments: "The Vanished Birds" , "The Lies of Locke Lamora" , "The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms" (The Broken Earth being one of my favorite series).

@@ChantaalReads for me it was a surprise as a lor of reviewers were saying how complicated the plot is. While the reader needs to pay atention, I did not found it difficult. It helped that I wrote the cast of characters so to not keep turning to the first pages.
