Today we journey across Hampshire on the MHR behind Stainer Class 5 45379. With wonderful enhanced sounds added by Steam Sound Supreme. With a few action shots, narrated sequences and cab shots, for your enjoyment.
This video does not feature the updated straightened line at Medstead from Wander's curve, only because when I started filming these shots I hadn't finished the project yet. Big thank you again to all who helped with the project (Matt) & ( Rob). I hope you enjoy the video.
Jonathan.

The Llangollen Railway has had its own fair share of trespassers. I'd like to see the Llangollen Railway on your channel in Train Sim form, featuring a Driver's Eye View with 7822 Foxcote Manor. If you can upload it, that is.

The Llangollen Railway is currently in the making at moment as far as I know. So it's not possible to use it, unfortunately.

Blast, I missed the premiere. I always plan to catch premiere's and then I end up having to go and cook dinner or something. Fantastic video, liked the commentary on top & some brilliant shots you took! 👍

Was going to say, I enjoy our chats.😂 It might have been my fault as I had to reupload it. It had a few spelling mistakes in it. This is the first film using Adobe premiere pro. Glad you like the commentary, should I do it more? I added some long long pauses, as I thought people liked the quiet bits.

@@Watermillfilms @Watermillfilms Thats very kind of you to say, I do as well, I enjoy any conversation I have with people as long as it's positive and not an argument lol :) If you're comfortable doing commentary, then yes I'd like to see more! 👍 Yeah leaving quiet parts is a good idea I say, allows us to take in the sound of the locos hard at work...especially with the new SSS black 5 sounds!

G'Day Jonathan! This is your best offering yet 👍 The production values are getting better and better 😉 And yes, imho the voice-over works very well indeed, especially from the storytelling point of view - your voice is well suited to the task. The storytelling and narration aspects come alive with the mention of fictional characters' names, and the occasional inclusion of a few dry remarks about what they are up to is always good for raising a smile and a laugh or two. 😆 From a signaller's perspective, it is possible to have that yellow signal at the MHR end of Alton Platform 2 stay at red in the sim (as it should be in reality), rather than showing the decidedly debatable yellow aspect into the siding; when you're ready, I can teach you - and any other interested folk out there - how to achieve that. Let me know, eh? Loved the music - included in just the right places, and at other times none at all, leaving us with SSS's lovely rhythmic Black 5 exhaust sounds. Great job, Mr Jonathen - excitedly looking forward to your next YT outing!
