For those that encountered this problem. Make sure that the text starts at the very beginning of the page. That solved the issue in my case

Why do none of these methods work for me?? When I try to delete the page numbers from the first two pages, it deletes the numbers from page 4 on... Only the number 1 on the third page is left. Gaahhhhh!!!! Freaking Word, man...

So, I decided to test something, basically the "Link to Previous" You want to uncheck that, then go back and delete the page number on previous pages. If you try to delete the page numbers before unchecking the "Link to Previous" it will delete ALL the pages numbers.

Microsoft word is supposed to be user friendly and not complicated. Never thought i need to search a lot videos just to add page numbering on microsoft word. STUPID!
