When you have two profiles in the managed Outlook app (the personal profile and the enterprise profile), does the App Protection Policy restriction actions on the personal profile as well (e.g. restricting copying and pasting texts from the personal mailbox messages to Notes app)?

Is it possible to add an Intune role to a user for him to be able to use selective wipe? Because I added all the settings to a licensed user and he still cannot use selective wipe, only admin roles can?

in case of full wipe, is there any way to make sure the device is wiped since it needs device to be connected to internet and if doesn't do so ??

Full wipe requires the device to be enrolled, also internet connectivity is required as intune service needs to communicate to the client which is company portal app.

Any specific certification is available for microsoft Intune ?please share the full series for Intune.

difference between retire and selective wipe could u please explain that

Retire will completely remove all the data, and selective wipe can help you target apps.

I have setup app protection policy in endpoint manager, applied the test user to it, installed outlook and teams on iphone11 and created profile, i then created wipe request for this user and it sees the device i am on but nothing happens. I open and close outlook and teams multiple time and nothing :-(

At times it may take some time, just open edge on he device and navigate to about:intunehelp and see what is last policy refresh sync time.

No device enrollment is not required.

You confirmed that you haven't enrolled the device but once you select the user it showing the device. How come its?

One user can have multiple device, so to send selective wipe request for a specific device, device list is shown. To reproduce the use case, setup 2 devices with same user object for MAM and then try to run selective wipe for one of the device.

Good video, may you please let me know if it`s possible to also wipe data for managed apps from unmanaged or not enrolled device? this is the solution I`m looking for which led me to your this video.
