@@felixman9691 the trick is purchase game pass for at least two months please as many games as possible try and complete them. Build up your Microsoft points enough where it pays for itself if you put Microsoft Edge on your phone and computer, you can use it as well. Search for use the Microsoft edge to build up with the same Microsoft account as your Xbox. Constantly building up points and then you can use your points to purchase the game pass it’s a no brainer. I don’t understand why no one else does it.

It’s not about the price it’s about the VALUE. Price increases are meh but what in the hell was the point of the ActiBlizz buyout when it’s been months since the deal closed and nothing to show for it? They should have had the entire back catalog on Game Pass day one and be flogging their headline titles like COD and WoW with perks for GPU subs. And where is the blue sky hype for stuff like WoW on console to give Squenix some competition there? So far by looking at what we have gotten from it you wouldn’t even know they just vacuumed up one of the biggest producers in the industry. They need to get their shit together and start delivering the value if they want to get growth out of the toilet.

The problem here about the Activision backlog ....how much is it really going to move the needle? Any TRUE FAN of their previous games no doubt already owns them all, and have done for years. I have had all my favourite Bethesda games (and DLCs) in my Xbox library LONG before they appeared on a crappy rental service.

Love the Xbox Series X (and 360 before it). But Game Pass has been the scourge of Xbox as a brand. And it's costing MS TONS of revenue loss. The biggest culprit is the strategic subscribers. Basically people who let a number of games build up, subscribe for 1 month, immediately cancel, complete games with the 30 days they have remaining. Then wait another 6 months or so to repeat the process. I know someone who plans to do this in December. He mostly plays Fortnite on his PS5. But uses his Series S to "grab and run" games from game pass. This December he will sub for 1 month, cancel, blitz through CoD campaign, Avowed and Indiana Jones and be back on Fortnite before the month ends. MS will only make £14.99 out of him from those 3 games. Add in the one time sub he did for Hellblade II at the former price of £8.99 for day 1 games. £23.99 they would have made from him for the ENTIRE YEAR!!!!! To put that into some perspective. If he had bought CoD on his PS5 for £70 ... MS 70% cut from that one game would have been £49. Double than what they get from his 2 time game pass subscriptions. The biggest mistake assumption people often make is thinking game pass numbers are gamers constantly recurring subscribing. They are NOT in most cases. This is why they are slinging their games onto other platforms. Game Pass is NOT sustainable long term. Just glad I never given a single penny to it.

Yup. This is partly why Xbox is failing. They even do pro rated returns in Canada. I played and finished Hellbade 2 in a single day. Asked for a refund so I only paid $1.65 to play hellblade 2 😂

Its a few dollars more "now" but lets say Xbox arent able to reel in the amount of consistent subs they were expecting, guess whos gonna have to cover that loss?? It wont be the xbox execs, that loss will be covered by xbots in another Price hike.

xbox has their best showcase in over a decade - continues to get outsold EVERY month by a 7yr old handheld. Their answer?? Price increase to their underwhelming subscription service. Now they're pushing a console less future with Amazon firestick. Phil and Co are a bunch of clueless flogs. Imagine when Nintendo drops SWITCH 2? It's going to be a bloodbath. xbox is dead.

All streaming services, be they movies or games are a scam so no surprise here, at least not for me 😂

Not really, but the problem of Xbox is they don't understand the production cycles of movies and/or anime work different, but they will learn it by sarcificing and firing a lot of talents, like we already see then releasing 3-4 AAA games annually is a wishful thinking, games are often unpolished, because they are rushed as gamepass needs new things so AAA games are being fixed when they have already been released, well okay, Hellblade 2 didn't see it, because it is a small and short game, but the rest...

Because it cost hundreds of millions to make triple A games! So, the only way to help xbox but not prevent them from financially drowning is raising the prices of the subscriptions. But xbox will have to incrementally continue to raise the prices, because they've been in the hole since the beginning of the failed Xbox One, which is over a decade old.

xbox console sales are down = announces a more expensive console. gamepass continues to miss internal targets = let's increase gamepass the price of gamepass without adding any extra value. ms/xbox/Phil genuinely have no idea what they're doing HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
