Besides learning Power Apps from you, I have also learned a lot on becoming a better person: graciously saying “I don’t know but I’ll find out”, not sweating the small and focusing my energy on what is of significance importance, and even having valuable self-talk i.e., “I don’t know why I would want to know this”. Thank you!

Love how Microsoft is continuing to come out with new features without refining the stuff they already implemented. Like all the missing control features in the modern controls. As an example, still have no ability to adjust padding on the modern button, have to use the classic if you wanted to nest an icon and move the text to the left or right.

Ill give it to them on Co-Authoring though, a neat feature (that is also kind of a gimmie for necessity)

Yeah, I am still not using the Modern Controls, they are close but still just missing a bunch of little details. :(

@@ShanesCows Yep same! Actually dealing with an issue this moment with a Text control completely disregarding its X/Y properties. Several other developers have looked at it to ensure there wasn't an error. Replacing with a Label and giving the same properties worked like a charm. Side Note: Love your content! Keep up the amazing work.

@omorales4726 Well that's depressing haha.. I've only been in the PowerApps space for a little over a year now, previously a React/JavaScript web developer. For all the amazing things they have managed to come up with, Modern Controls seems like a huge miss.

Exactly, Microsoft should work on the basic and important stuff first. Latest bugs/restrictions I stumbled upon in Automate/Dataverse: -Bug where a called flow returns a string instead of defined boollean - dataverserse table formulas can not deal with currency values (and other datatypes)

Shane, I have zero background in code or constructing apps/flows. I began building the app I needed in January after the frustration of working with corporate IT and never getting them to understand what it is we needed for our unique industry's requirements in Sales and Operations. Going back as far as 4 years into your videos and a bit of sweat equity on nights and weekends, and my first attempt is done and after roll-out is going nationally for our Team. I can't express enough gratitude for your expertise and the way you explain the components and steps in a way even us "sales folk" can understand and use!!

Holy moly.. exposing the control code right in the studio IS AMAZING! - Even from a pure low code user perspective, I would find this to be a more reliable way to copy and paste a control. We all know sometimes powerapps simply ... fails.. ungracefully sometimes while copying and pasting a complex set of controls.

I hope Power Apps and Power Automate become easier to use. I’m building app with Power Apps but competing with Smartsheet, which a lot of other people seem to love because it’s easier to create and more intuitive.
