That Mini Magnet is hands down the most prolific bait I've ever used, albeit for mini fish for the most part. Bump up to the Trout Magnet or Crappie Magnet and you'll get bigger fish, but not quite as many. I swear by all the Leland products as providing the best bang for the buck when it comes to panfish. Tight lines!

Also, try the Trout Magnet minnow. I believe they have 3 or 4 colors. They are great for walleye. Always fish em on ultra lights, about 6'6" or 7 footers. Your choice on the lb test.

Morels .. Hmmm tough choice. Lets see, I can fish 365 days per year or get Morels for about 2-3 weeks, Max. 3 hours later - "whereinthehell did I drop my rod?" EDIT: I purchased this kit. First impression: These jigs are *small*. For an old guy like me, with failing eyesight and disappearing finger dexterity - the plan is to attach leaders to the jigs, using my fly tying vise, because I would never be able to get them tied on in the field. I have already noticed that the hooks are EXTREMELY sharp. I hope to update soon, after a week in Michigan in June.

Hey 618 Fishing I just found you're channel a few weeks ago, i'm enjoying you're stuff as most other American channels i'v been watching just fish for bass, it seems to be the national fish or something "and i can understand the attraction too, it looks fun" I'm guessing those fish you were catching (bluegill?) are classed as Panfish? Here in the UK back when i was a kid my neighbour used to take me fishing on the river and taught me everything i know. From fly fishing for trout to ledger fishing for barbel and chub, But i used to enjoy a technique called "Trotting" which is based on light gear and what we call a center pin reel (basically a frictionless oversized fly reel) very tricky to do right with finesse. Anyway we used small maggots called ''pinkies'' that look exactly like that pink lure you used fist, about the same size too only alive a wriggling. We would catch fish called dace, rudd and roach and if you were real lucky a beautiful fish called the grayling also known as (The Lady Of The Stream) Now its all carp fishing here and it's all about how big the catch is and how expensive you're gear is, it's kind of spoilt it for me as i just enjoyed the peace and beauty to relax and unwind. Anyway i just wanted to say i really enjoy you're content, and this video in particular sparked memories of way back when.. Looking forward to more of you're vids in the future, with ❤ from UK Lee.

If you want to properly use micro nano lures, you can try a light rock fishing rod, like japanese mebaru game rods or aji game rods, another sensitivity with micro jigs.
