You can start at .3-1.5 mm and make sure if the client is comfortable then move it up to 2 - 2.5 mm of depth 😊

How many times can you reuse the microneedles?

Is their an advantage to stamping versus gliding? And what depth are you Microneedling

Do you use titanium microneedles or steel ones?

I tried it and make my eyes full of tears

Seems to me that stamping is best since the whole point of a pen over a roller is vertical punching. If you're gliding the pen, you'll be moving while the needle is still inside the scalp some of the time causing tears instead of punches. Is that correct?

Yes. Stamping is advised during hair restoration treatments unless it is an area with virtually no visible hair, such as a receding hairline. That’s an area that could be traced.

@@mdpenco Thank you for the reply. I've been derma rolling in my hair line with good results but I bought a derma pen months ago but decided to do some research into the techniques and your KZread page is the most informative out of everything I've seen. Stamping is definitely the correct way because I would say you could possibly damage hai follicles and the actual hair strand if using the tracing technique. I have also noticed the healing process is quite quick in comparison when stamping! Maybe a much cleaner wound being a straight up & down needle puncture. How often would you recommend doing the 2-2.5mm derma session? I normally do 1.5 mm once a week as I'm totally healed. Also would it be beneficial using a needle cartridge with 35 instead of the normal sized ones 13 or 14 I believe? Thank you so much 🙏

Do you have them use minoxidil at home in between treatments?

my mom has the same spot on top of her head. She has this for like over 10 years now? Can she recover from this? The hair loss just stops here and wont go further.

My salon recommended 2 dermapen sessions a week as well as dermaroller sessions in between and i am skeptical of it. It seems way too invasive. What do you think?

What length needle for male scalp? Do I have to press it so the needle can enter my skin or just trace it around. I tried 2.5 for my arm and it started bleeding

The copper mist was sprayed before for the anti microbial properties from the copper then the serum is for glide during the procedure.

Typically no more than 3 stamps or passes. Pinpoint bleeding is still your endpoint. I don’t advise tracing on the scalp unless there is a complete lack of hair. Example: a frontal exceeding hairline.

@@mdpenco Hey I am curious why You don’t advise tracing on the scalp? I have a derminator 2 and I am a diffuse thinner so I have to microneedle my whole scalp so I find tracing in circular motions quicker and easier for me than stamping. Is this OK?

Hi! We cannot speak for other devices on the market. With MDPen it is advised to stamp over any active visible hair follicles and hair longer than 1/4 inch. We do not want to risk damaging these hairs.
