    Hi, thank you for the insight. So you say right after the treatment and your face is still kinda red and some small pinpoint bleeding, you CAN wash your face clean with a natural soap like you mentioned? THEN you can apply more of the hyaluronic acid serum to face and let it sit/beging healing with very little contact of the face and exposure to sun for at least 24 hours? Thanks just wondering how to manage the first 1-24 hours after process.

    I just turned 40, EEEEEEEK!!! And I'm going to give this a try. I have so many different "gadgets" that I've purchased, that I just need to use: Dr Pen Bosidin Light therapy NuBody Microderm glo I can't remember the name of the other thingI have, but it's the wand thing that has the different attachments. A comb looking thing for the hair, other ones for acne, etc. I've just been nervous using the other things, but I'm going to just give it a try. I have sensative skin, but I'm going to just be gentle.

    @@reneeschroeder5583 Hi Renee! You can use this pen device for nano needling (you can buy that kind of cartridge). But I think the Deminuage pen is better for that. They also sell cartridges a bit deeper but not as invasive like the Dr Pen and regular microneedling. You may want to watch my first video on nano needling as I explain the differences. But overall, if you want to be a more careful, the Deminuage is the best for that. Super safe, no risks and when ready to do treatments a bit deeper, they have some cartridges for that, but none are as invasive as microneedling with the Dr Pen. I hope that makes sense. I am going to do a video on this in two weeks. And that is great you are in the midwest too!

    It was my first micro-needling and it was intense. On my face it was less intense but on my neck and chest it was very intense. By imtense I meant itching all over my neck. Hyaluronic acid helps a lot, plus I did a combo of gycolic and hemp seed oil on my 2nd day down time. I also noticed that astringent helps a lot on the 2nd day to bring out more natural oil on the face. I did the same on my 3rd day and it's getting better. I do not expect qyuick results for obvious reasons. My main problems are acne scars on my temple and cheeks. Hopefully, I'll be cleared of scars after 3 or 4 treatments which will be around 4 fmonths from now.

    After you start doing these routinely does the acclamation process because shorter as it would be annoying to do a treatment and then you don't see the full effect for almost 2wk and then after that in another 2wks your back to square one from the next microneedling treatment.

  • @LifeDIY

    @LifeDIY

    Hi Imran, for me, it's always taken about 10 days to see some level of improvement. But, to really see the effects, it can take 90 days or more after one treatment (according to studies), as it takes that long or longer to go through the process of collagen induction and repair. But, I never feel like I'm starting at square one and my skin doesn't go back to looking as bad as it was before. I hope that makes sense.

    I have a dermal roller…. I’m thinking about buying this .. my only issue is that I don’t want the pen to reach .. the dermis .. with the blood vessels .. what do you recommend.. I asked the manufacturers . They did say .. somethings but since you have used it .. I want ti make sure it’s not going to .. reach the blood vessels like a needle would as if you’re getting fillers . What I noticed after dermal rolling my face will peel

I was afraid to purchase another M8, and purchased the A6S instead..I've used it 3 times so far and it hasn't died on me. Anyone else have that issue with the M8?

I used derma roller twice a week and in 2nd processes ppl asked me why you doing to your face why your scares look less visible. I was overwhelmed cuz i almost lost all hope that my skin would look normal let alone perfect. I started derma rolling in 2018 and still using it and I have perfect skin ppl won't believe if I say I had deep acne scares.

    Thanks. Good tip on not going back to areas once you’ve already done it. I learned the hard way that revisiting is painful. Question: why did you go deeper than .5 mm? I find that I don’t have any of the bleeding or flaky irritated side effects if I just stick to .5 What is the benefit of going deeper? Also, when you do micro needling videos, you may want to specify medical, cosmetic, and nano needling to your viewers who are new at this. When I began every time I heard micro needling I always thought it meant .5 medical needling. But there are different kinds and depths; where you can microneedle vitamin C right in.

    Anita, thank you so much for the feedback. I should have explained some things more. I think you are correct that 0.5mm is def. Enough to get results and I believe there are studies to prove it. I did 1.5 for the hairline and brows (most important for hairline). But, I think I just have a habit of going a but deeper over any lines. Good point about doing 0.5 and having a better and faster turn around. I will do that next time. I will do a lot more research on depth differences and results. Thanks Anita! 🤗

    @@LifeDIY Thank you, sorry i did see further through you were very clear about this!. I,m curious to know what your views are with flattening out skin in perfections, scars and general uneven surface. TCA peels or continued Micro Needling. I just personally thought although could be very wrong, that TCA peels could cause further capillary/hyper pigmentation issues due to thinning the skin. Thank you in advance.
