I ended up taking mine out about a month ago because they were too thick to interlock, but I loved them

That prep step to palm roll is genius… it makes the overall twist look uniform thank you

It’s human hair. I believe you can use a synthetic blend too

Beautiful install! I just hit my 1st locaversary yesterday. I didn't use extensions, so I'm not seeing any visible growth yet, execpt for the color I started with on the top half of my hair.... The shrinkage ain't no joke! Lol Welcome to the journey! 🙌🏽💜🫶🏽

I ended up cutting them and ion think you should. When they start forming they become shorter. I ended up having to go back in and replacing the short ones that grew out after 6 months.

Great job! If you crochet/ instant-lock the ends you will not have to worry about the ends unraveling or bunching at all!🎉 What is your loc count? P.S. Use a sea salt spray to encourage your loc’s to lock faster.

I used 2 mirrors; I braid and band; 4-5 weeks so far

Thank you. They can be permanent, but mine were temporary. I wash(ed) mine every 2 weeks by braiding & banding.

I didn’t cut it. The hair is halved, so it’s more like 10 inches. When it’s stretched before using it it’s 20 inches

It’s possible, but make sure to not pop them often or it’ll thin them out worse

It’s the method I chose. I know some who feed in the hair. I don’t recommend starting in the braid because of slippage
