Microblading Gone WRONG & How to Remove It (2020)

Hey Guys!
Many of you probably don't know I had microblading done. I got microblading done two years ago and...... it went terribly wrong. My eyebrows are now BRIGHT RED 😑. I wanted to tell you guys the real truth of what could happen to you if you get microblading done and what to do if it goes wrong. This is such an embarrassing topic for me and this video was hard for me to record, but I'm ready to share it with you guys.
In this vlog I talk about my horrible experience with a microblading technician and how I fell upon her place. I will tell you where NOT to search for microblading. If you choose the wrong place, the process to remove it afterwards will be a nightmare. If you are going through the same terrifying experience that I am, have no fear! I talk all about the saline solution removal process and even show the entire procedure (Thank you, Eye Design for letting me record!).
After the video of the saline solution microblading removal, I follow up with videos of me during the healing process for five days immediately after the procedure. I will update you guys in another vlog after days 6,7,8,9, & 10 have passed so I can show you the final result after the saline solution process! So stay tuned for that if you want to see what the results look like.

    My nightmare is much like yours. Too dark, too big, not a pretty shape, and they don't match. In five years they have faded but the problem is that darn red pigment. I just had a test spot done and fingers crossed it will work and then I can go back and have both brows down. Thank you for being brave enough to show videos of how your brows look and sharing your nightmare. I would never be able to do that. I really appreciate this video, and I give you props on how long you when with them. I just got mine done October last year. Same mistake, was a cheap sale and she gave me Ronald McDonald eyebrows. Said the same thing that it would shrink and it s not the actual size. But it stayed that size. I cried, so embarrassed to go to work the next day. It was so bad my sweet boyfriend was gonna pay my rent for me, but of course I wouldn't let him. I did my first sailne session, scabs came off but no results, it worried me because it was so dark. So it looks like its gonna take me more than 2 or 3 sessions to have it completely gone. I can't wait to see your update. Maybe I should blog this too. You are a great inspiration, thank you.

    Hi! I’m so glad I found your video. I’m going through the same thing. Are you planning to re-microblade your brows after? I’m planning to get mines completely removed, I’ve only had some parts removed with laser so far and it’s red lol but I found a good artist who I can trust to do them again. Just wondering what your thoughts on that?

  • @GabrielaMariex

    @GabrielaMariex

    3 жыл бұрын

    I decided I won’t be doing them again because I actually like how they’ve grown in fully again. It takes time for them to grow, but worth it. I’ve just been doing some light threading to clean them up but I always ask for them not to touch the shape too much. In my opinion, I wouldn’t get them re-done because you might end up with more ink and a shape you don’t like. A friend of mine ended up with two ends of her eyebrow because she went to a new artist to try to re-do her brows. Best of luck and let me know if you have any questions ✨🙏

    Hi! Thank you very much for this. I live in Jersey and Manhattan is very accessible to me. Did the redness or faded ink look of your brows disappear after the scabs had fallen off from the saline treatment? I’m looking into getting it too as I want my brows back to what they used to be and just go for softer looks by just filling in my brows again with brow powder/pencil. Is that possible to happen with Saline brow tattoo removal treatment? Had my brows microbladed about 4 years ago. Made a mistake and went for a really dark shade. :(

    Hey thanks for your video. The therapist doing the saline removal shouldn’t have put numbing cream on prior to the treatment as it is a vascular constrictor and the eyebrows need to bleed when the saline is going in. I just had mine done. Incredibly painful process. You shouldn’t get the eyebrows wet for 48 hours and even after that, minimal water near them. Then the scabs form and bring the ink to the surface over the coming week. NEVER use petroleum jelly…..it is what it’s called - PETROL ! Good luck with your journey ❤

    I do laser and saline tattoo removal. Laser is used for black, blue, and green ink. And saline for red, pink, grey ink. So I know your concern about your eyebrows turning red after your first laser treatment because that is normal and then saline solution after they turn red. I really don't think she used cheap ink that is just the normal process when lighting permanent ink. Plus after day 3 you can use peroxide twice a day to continue the lightening process until your next treatment

    So sorry to hear about your experience! I know just how you feel. It will take time to remove, it is definitely a process, but I am sure they will be removed. You can try saline solution. It depends how deep the technician went when doing your microblading and what type of ink you used. Ultimately, what ended up working the best for me was the Picosure laser. The saline lightened them a little bit, but not enough to remove. However, my ink was extremely dark and it turns out she used a tattoo like ink. They had to put the laser on a very high setting, normally used for regular tattoo removals. Let me know if you have any more questions and best of luck 🤞

Like, 10x blacker than yours, with absolutely no exaggeration. I've since had 9 laser treatments and the ink turned bright yellow. I think wait about 2 weeks to see if it actually lightens up with the saline. Then you should wait about 2 more weeks after that to go back for another session. However, I really do think that laser, especially Picosure, will really remove it. Are yours very dark?

    hey thanks for sharing this video. I too had the same experience as you with the microblading gone wrong and my horrible experience with microblading. I got my eyebrows microblading in 2018 at this nail shop place in my hometown. she mapped out my eyebrows and stuff. she apply the local topical anesthetic and she didn't even leave them on like you are supposed to. she went to work on it right away. oh man the thing literally hurted and she didn't even seem to cared. after it was done it did turned out good. during the healing process it started to come off and when I went in for my 2nd retouched up same thing. during the healing process more of the microblading came off. I can tell you this, the microblading did not last long on me it started to come off and faded so fast so quickly in less than 6 months. I had to apply eyebrow pencils to make it look good and stuff. I used the Anastasia brow wiz pencil or the benefit cosmetic precisely brow pencil to fill in my eyebrows. I let it go for about a year, then finally last year in 2019 I found another brow artist who was able to help me with my brow troubles. so I went to her the removal of my microblading, I did the saline lighting/removal process. I had like 5 removal process done of my old microblading, so I had to wait for 3 months to get the ombre powder brows done. I got the ombre powder brows done on Monday and im so in love, I got the bold style look so this is hopefully going to last for at least 2-3 years.

I plan on doing laser to remove them. They did a test patch and it def helped. So I’m going to go ahead with that and hope I get a good result. I too used a Groupon and I could just kick my self in the butt with some lady I didn’t know and I could tell she was putting a weird color on. She put like a mom color on her rose and it was just a weird like brownish mom it’s hard to even explain and, there was nobody else in the salon that did that kind of thing she was leasing a small room there. When she got done, there were no hair like lines to make my eyebrows. She did like one solid color and it looked like crap and I kept telling her I did not want anything like that. I just wanted the hair lines drawn, you know the real nice hair lines that looks like real eyebrows and that’s not what she did and she said the same thing that it would fade over time in this and that well it didn’t and it just looked horrible so I tried to go back to her to fix it or take it off and she ran off out of town. She was gone ! Then I had to do something about it still and found another person. I think it was another Groupon. Guess I didn’t learn my lesson. I told her exactly what it happened and I went to her twice and again no hair strands just solid coloring or shading or whatever you wanna call it and she had the gall to tell me to come back a third time and I would have to pay her more money and I just quit right then and there I never wanted to see another one of those shysters again now I need to get them both completely taken off and really find somebody eventually that can put the hair strikes in the hair lines in. That’s all I want. I don’t want any shading or anything like that.
