Depending on what you're planning to throw at it and whether or not you already have a stash of Makita 18V LXT batteries, this may or may not be a good purchase. It's a bit under-powered. But it's quiet and lightweight.

How was the grass pickup and how is it in the dry? Could you use it like a vacuum to pick up grass debris on a path for example?
Purpose of Safety (ignition) Key is to hide it from kids so they don't start the mover by themselves so no need to put more expensive smart electronic.
