In the most european countries is it allowed to have a maximum of 800wp of solar panels without the need of tell the energy company. I have also some cheap micro grid tie inverters but the RT ones. The quality should be better, have a relay for island protection. And there are now also RT micro grid tie inverters with limiters! But luckily i got just paid for what i deliver back to the grid. 😅 But i think about a hybrid inverter to store the rest power in the battery and use it later on the day. But the are way more expensive. But think in the near feature!

I'm sure we have restrictions here too, but America is the land of the free we don't care that much

@@TheCrazyRomanian I am a newbie .. so, maybe a silly question .... if your entire fuse box could be switched from grid to 'home supply' (even manually), then wouldn't the excess from your home supply NOT get pushed to the grid under any circumstances ? If so, then when you draw what you need via your home inverter from your local stored battery charge, wouldn't this be safe and the most cost effective ? .... am I missing something here ?

About grid-tied: if something goes wrong, a lineman or neighbour gets electrocuted by your inverter, if the inverter is certified then you're not liable for manslaughter. Recently some nice cheap certified grid-tied inverters came-out for under $1k for 3.68kW.

They stop when the power goes down .. if a lineman works to the lines the power is down ... Right ?

@@TheCrazyRomanian the "if something goes wrong" can be "if they don't stop". Fortunately, imho the risk for that is absolutely zero.

Do you ever fly in a plane ? What if it crashes ? There are no guarantees on life .... Your fear that this is not stopping is based on what ... Did it ever happen to you ? I don't understand how your brain is wired ...

@@squeaky_hondathese inverters switches off when there is no power input to these inverters. When they sense grid only then they produce.

I have looked and SolArk, Growatt, ...... all of the "All in one" people do not make an inverter with current transformers (clamps) that self regulate like the older (mine) China blue box 1000Watt Grid Tie Inverters with Limiters and your newer type inverters with limiters. Why do you think that is? I would love to have a SolArk quality all in one inverter that would handle my whole house (it I had the panels for it).

It's crazy that there's only a few selections that you have with current limiting I'm not sure exactly why I must have something to do with some kind of regulation or something but I can't really tell what

Yes I asked myself for permission .. and it got approved. Hey next time you encounter a red light that doesn't turn green don't forget to call 311 and ask permission to make that turn ... 😂😂😂
