Being a girl with too few practical skills, I fix everything with gaffer tape and hair bands. Think of hair bands as little bungee cords - really useful for keeping bedding, curtains, tarps etc where you want them to be.

Absolutely agree with the list. Only other vital component is kitchen roll for leaks, spills, and general mess.

Hi night wolf I'm glad you agree, i wasn't sure if people would be on board with the dehumidifier. Kitchen roll... almost as useful as duct tape how could we miss it out :)

If you have a lot of moisture condensation it is because you do not have a good insulation... on all metal parts ... Once the metal parts (Kaiflex, etc) are well insulated you dont need anything more.

I would add baby wipes to the list. A word of warning about those dehumidifiers, be careful not to spill the liquid when it takes in moisture, it's evil. I had one leak in my caravan over winter and it's ruined the shelf. It has a permanent wet look and keeps on swelling up 🙁

Dehumidifier is a good call, recently bought some for my van, all good suggestions for those new ish to vanlife. I might come up with some of my own ideas and link back to this video, should send some viewers your way.

We can't HEAR YOU ! You need to spend $5 on eBay and buy yourself a lapel mic. Then just use any old mobile phone (with a headphone jack) to record your audio. I'm using a 10yr old Motorola !

Gaffer tape....not duct tape...we have always called it gaffer tape.
