Isaiah Rashad and Mick Jenkins music sound so synonymous I would've thought he liked his music more. I could've seen them making music and touring together, oh well.

+yehus inede He never said he doesn't like Rashad. Just said he wasn't really impressed with his music. But if he really don't like Rashad as a person then he wack straight up. Isaiah's one of the most down to earth musicians in the biz.

Maybe that's why he is unimpressed. I think Drake said it best. "...but if all I hear is me, then who should I be afraid of?" Like, you sound like I do, and I'm not particularly impressed with myself, I doubt you'll impress me, you feel what I'm saying?
i would of love a isaiah rashad x mick jenkins song

they're both amazing. why you guys arguing just accept that
I loved everything he said except for Isaiah Rashad not impressing him.. Rashad is a special talent as well as you who knows how to speak to people through emotion and analogies that are fresh and not recycled
What an honor to have my comment featured on this interview ,lol i really didn't see that one coming! As i wait for a Mick concert in South Africa. Cilvia Demo though.. a classic in my opinion, especially Tranquility and Soliloquy so big ups to Isaiah as well

Ntwana I'm 4 years late but do you real that Mick kinda talked to you?!😂😂🙌👏🚀
What Mick needs to understand is you don't have to be all super lyrical miracle.. You need more than that to be considered a great Artist .. You need charisma & stage presence.. And etc me personally I like Isaiah Rashad and TUT preacher son album .. And i think Mick is dope as well.. And I'm not from Chicago I'm from Chattanooga Tennessee like Isaiah and TUT .. And I feel yall bring something different to game.. So keep dropping that knowledge Mick and much respect to you 👍🏿🙌🏿👏🏿

+Hamilton Nelms from a rappers perspective the lyrics are such an important part and to be GREAT you need to have it all! lyrics, flow and meaning... charisma falls under flow, word play and lyricism (obviously) with lyrics and soul and presence with meaning
@hbizzle8037
8 жыл бұрын
+Paulie Gualtieri I said they all bring something different to the game .. Mick is more of the traditional boom bap rapper .. And Isaiah Rashad & TUT is more of that old-school Southern hip pop like your OutKast and Goodie Mob type style .. And I can appreciate them all .. #Chattanooga Tennessee STAND UP we bout to take over

+oVerdoZzZed yeah, it was alright... I had different expectations going into it because I knew it was going to be nothing like his previous projects. It wasn't the best, just decent.

+WhosTrizzy Waves wasn't as structured or as planned as The Waters was or a album would be. He said he just went into the studio and made whatever felt right. It had all this live instrumentation n shit, seemed experimental low key.
I seen mick twice and love him. But he's not touching isaiah.
Shit, I thought it was P.K Subban
Mick Jenkins. I'm from South Africa too and I'm your biggest fan bro. I swear I've upgraded. from listening to lil Wayne then going to drake, now I'm on cole, kendrick, logic and you brother. keep grinding bro, we hear you in South Africa
Mick Jenkins is so sick. This guy has the some crazy talent. [Waters] was defo one of the best albums to listen too.
I can't stop watching Mick's interviews man learn something every time watching.
Love you Mick. Keep making dope records. DRINK MORE WATER.
Also another South African fan, from Cape Town, I fuck with all your music ever since you dropped the Mickalus Cage tape. You inspire us young rappers on our grind. don't fall off, keep pulling us into the deepest waters like a sea line. thank you for spreading your wisdo, knowledge and most importantly, your love. no puns intended. I mead dat shit.
#LongLiveSteelo
Mick Jenkins always so chill😂😂
I play a lot of shit but mick Jenkins get continuous replay. My lil cuzz of put me up on you. That "Waters" is real spill!!!!! Might have saved a Kings life! Thank you bro!!!
mick has come a long way just wait till 2016, he is gonna blow, I feel it
Immediately went and watched ps and qs after this lol
Love mick, love his music and he seems like a awesome genuine dude
guilty of missing p's&q concept at first. Mick Jenkins keep doing what you doing and give all glory to God
OMG I JUST REALIZED THE Ps and Qs
lots of kids in south africa and i imagine around the world appreciate this culture to this level where we know about mick jenkins and isaiah rashad etc you guys should come here
YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT AROUND YOU MR. JENKINS. STAY TRUE
There is something about Mick in all his interviews and music even in person that's just hella satisfying. Maybe his voice or some shit, even in person he's just the most down to earth dude and chillest dude ever.
Mick Jenkins killing it!
this man speaks like a humble pastor. love it.
Shout out Noisey 4 this one
Thank you Mick, really appreciate you as a older Black man. Love your wisdom keep it up.
I'm a big fan of Mick Jenkins!! He is and outstanding independent guy I fucc wit his music nd its clean asf straight up talks about the TRUTH I like real music nd your music inspire me hope te hear Mick soon ?
I remember seeing you in Vilnius @Kablys, at the bar, alone. Really wanted to come up to you, no photos, just thank you for giving us the opportunity to listen to your music. But I didn't dare, don't know why. Hope you will come once again to Vilnius, on the performance of THC...
MICK JENKINS DON'T WANT NO SMOKE WITH RASHAD
Mick Jenkins is one of my favorite hip hop artists period. But... I really like Cilvia Demo. He production was so smooth and his flow and lyrics were on point. I wasn't wowed the very first time I heard it but after listening again and letting it sink in I started to really love it. Both Mick and Isaiah have a similar vibe to me.
FINALLY!
False Egos make my favorite beats
Mick is fire !

Bro I grew up in Cicero and K-town. I was taken back by your lyrics. A South Side Chicagoan who's vegetarian?? Haha. Good shit Mick. Let me know when you're coming to Phoenix.
I didn't event realize P's and Q's lyrics all started with P's and Q's until i seen this haha
Cool dude
Answered my q 😁
Would've been dope hearing Mick, Isaiah, and TuT on a tape but it is what it is
He looks so chill :)
after pushing music outta Chatt to the best of my ability for bout the past 15 years, my first take on Zay was; he's garbage. but then i took a deeper listen and was like holy shit dude is a legend. but for me, I relate to his addiction problems(drinking / xanax) on a deep, personal level that not many can understand. and I heard it sonically in his music and couldn't believe how he put it into sound/song. but beyond that, he really captured the "sound of the city" in a way that I haven't heard before. so much props on that note. he's got a fan in me. (only reason that i watched this vid is cause Zays name is in it)
Honestly gotta rate the guy for being honest about not hearing about Kano and the accent. Just like i have not heard of him but just listened to his track an it was sick.
Need more mick jenkins.
These are two of my top five favorite rappers, kinda disappointed they won't make music together

It's apples and oranges when it comes to Isaiah vs Mick
such a likable young man
Everybody Check out False Ego though. One of the coldest producers out
nothing more to say but i love you for so many reasons on so many levels.
He's allowed to not be crazy about Isaiah Rashad...like honestly what he said was spot on, he didn't diss him or anything, but just because he's in the public eye people make a huge deal about it just because he isn't obsessed with the dude like everyone else. Artists are just people y'all lol
so fucking humble
he mentions Steelo, Yessssss
Mick and Isaiah seriously 2 of the best in the game rn
so i thought i knew what "bandwagon" meant when i hopped on with isaiah, but mick gives new meaning to the term "hype train"
live and direct
ahhh i remember this guy he is finally famous
Rashad and Jenkins are always my top 2
jenkins is the man right now I honestly only listen to him
this man is so fuckin well spoken
Could anyone explain to me what p's and q's mean?i mean in mick jenkins' song.
exponential
He was crazy live
You should let him read these comments..
Damn shout out to Steez that's dope
STEELO and him collaborating would be next level.. imagine a project..i shed a tear when mick said rip lol pussy shi. R EYE P STEEZ
Mick and Isaiah are both great rappers in my opinion
Mick Jenkins still Raw 🔥
Which line did mick diss isaiah?
Mick jenkins how can I get you on a feature
diss track. jenkins vs rashad. let's go. this wasn't a shot but i thought jenkins killed it on headass. gimme another
goat
I like Grime because their accents fit really well with the instrumentals. I don't think an American can rap over a Grime beat as well as someone from the U.K
P's & Q's is the best grime song ever imo. if you can't mess with Kano then it isn't for you!
I guess I understand where Mick is coming from in what he said about Isaiah since it's his opinion. Though, I think it's mostly due to Isaiah being in TDE and his group consisting of black hippy it's kind of hard to top those guys, especially with the experience they have. Loved the work of both of these artists. I like Cilvia demo over Pieces of a Kid (I think his lyricism was better) and it would be mad dope if they did a track together
Mick is dope but he's nowhere on the level as Isaiah Rashad. Civilia Demo is a classic in my book.
