The patience is a great project don’t get me wrong but I hope now that Mick is independent that he goes all out for a big project. I feel like it’s been a while since he really created a moment and now’s the best time to really go all out on something big. He’s such an incredible artist that I feel like he could easily create a “magnum opus”. All his projects have been great and Elephant in the Room has some of my favorite songs from him ever but I’d love to see him on some crazy MBDTF kinda shit. Lyrically he washes your favorite rapper so put him on some crazy production and shits over. Experimenting with shit he’s never rapped on before could be huge for him

I agree w this statement to a certain extent. For me I feel like Mick just making music for the ones who are really tapped in, and sometimes that means putting aside attempts to create the biggest or best project. He knows that he an animal and I wish he had more recognition that he does atm, but sometimes tryna reach that spotlight can be a downward spiral. But I do agree w you there’s only a handful of rappers that are on his level he truly is one of the greats

@@prodbyjdn6752i definitely agree but I wouldn’t consider it him trying to make it “big” in the industry, moreso him embracing his ambition more as an artist. because imo production is the driving force behind an album experience, I think he could push for something even greater. While he does always have smooth production, he usually lets it serve as the backdrop for his writing (at least usually). I think he could hit a new level if the production and writing worked in tandem to serve an album experience. Often times the best albums are ones where the lyrics and production work off eachother and are irreplaceable. with a lot of his music, you could really put his verses on any beat and it wouldn’t really change the song all that much. Not to keep bringing up Kanye but as an example, Something like Devil in a new dress would not work nearly as well as a song if those specific verses were not on that exact beat.

independent and biggest album doesn't mix. with all the features we got on this project, this is probably the biggest it'll get. we dont want mick to go mainstream right?

About that line on the Oscar Wilde quote "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" , the actual whole quote is "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness" not a lot of people know the whole quote, but I bet you Mick knows 😂
