such a humble guy for the finesse he has. unreal talent and seems like a genuine sound fella
Mick Hill is my current favorite English 8 ball player Excited to see more of these
What a brilliant idea mate, like to see a few more of these
It would be cool if we could have English 8 ball players, Filipino 15 ball rotation players and American straight pool/1 pocket players to all play each other’s games in a triathlon of Pool
Brilliant this. Micks a great guy
Love this. Not only is Mick in a battle with gaz but hes in a battle with himself. Thanks guys for this insight. We need more of this please 🙏🏾 ❤
My two favourite players. I thought it would have been closer but Mick did play well. 🎱
This is so good! Thank you, Mick and Simon ❤
Commentaries like this from elite players are gold.
Mick Hill = G.O.A.T 🐐 🐐 🐐

wonderful video
I see how now pro players don't allow pressure to take over his autopilot (be in his own field, without fear or pressure) and which is a great thing to do as we underrated pool players lack in terms of adjusting. Pressure makes us rush into a shot & tactically make mistakes or errors which is unnecessary.
This is great! Personally I'd prefer audio only from the watch along so I could get a better look at what's happening in the match
I remember thinking
Mick ze best. Ps: big pockets
Dear me id rather watch him that listen to him
If you play a deliberate foul is it not two shots? The one that forced Gareth to have to double the black?
Im thinking to myself

Can someone please explain to me what 'nipping the ball' means? I can't find any reference to this term on Google. Like when a pro says 'I had to nip the ball'.

Maybe it's where they use all of the pocket if you nip a ball you are potting it into the side of the pocket to get better postion

It means he has to play with screw but perfectly timed or the screwback won't react correctly. So not too slow/fast, perfect timing required to keep the white under control.

If I was to guess myself, I'd say it's when they're trying to kill the cue ball on a shot which has a bit too much angle. Would they just use gentle screw for that, or also some side to help kill it?

Yea after watching a match where the commentator often said.."he nipped that in perfectly" it seemed to be when a screw shot with an elevated cue caused more dramatic screwback ..sorta "nipping" the cue ball between the cue tip and felt. Often the players would be cueing over balls or against the cushion when commentators said this...I would like clarification on this myself..)
