@@josephsummers2427 He always says that other wrestlers know the fall through the roof of the cage was even more impressive than the one off the top. 1) Not expected and nothing at all (like a table) to break his fall, and 2) Not in the exact center of the mat below, which would’ve at least allowed for a little more “springy” rebound. Mick Foley is the greatest wrestler of my generation as he had 3 personaes Dude Love, Cactus Jack & Mankind thru his wrestling career. He broke boundaries and possibly some bones as a professional wrestler, he went above and beyond for the fans. Mick knew how to win over the audience even if he lost a match because he essentially risks a lot just to put on a good fight/good show by giving the fans their money's worth. I have a huge amount of respect for Mick and thank him for some of historic fights in wrestling entertainment.

Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Bret Hart and Mick Foley are the five greatest wrestlers of all time. I don't think there has ever been a wrestler more beloved by fans, than Mick was when he beat the Rock for the title on raw. Ridiculously over.

Mick did a speaking tour a few years ago and talked about other wrestlers, his life, and his take on things. It was part comedy show, part book reading. He did a meet-and-greet afterwards and I got to talk to him for a couple of minutes. When he found out I was a veteran, he gave me a t-shirt (that I'm currently wearing), thanked me for my service, and refused to take payment. It was a small gesture but genuine. He was so kind and gracious and funny. One of my absolute favorite human beings. Also a multiple New York Times bestseller!

Mick Foley is a legendary individual, not just a wrestler. I wish he was more recognized for his work and nobility.
Foley's really well spoken.
I used to watch during his main era and I was surprised the first time I heard some of the wrestlers be interviewed on late night or other "normal" outlets. I had no idea how smart, articulate and often funny these guys are, and they don't run out of conversation solely because they can talk about things other than wrestling. Big Show and Mick are the best at that kind of stuff.
