Mick Foley is the greatest wrestler of my generation as he had 3 personaes Dude Love, Cactus Jack & Mankind thru his wrestling career. He broke boundaries and possibly some bones as a professional wrestler, he went above and beyond for the fans. Mick knew how to win over the audience even if he lost a match because he essentially risks a lot just to put on a good fight/good show by giving the fans their money's worth. I have a huge amount of respect for Mick and thank him for some of historic fights in wrestling entertainment.

Mick did a speaking tour a few years ago and talked about other wrestlers, his life, and his take on things. It was part comedy show, part book reading. He did a meet-and-greet afterwards and I got to talk to him for a couple of minutes. When he found out I was a veteran, he gave me a t-shirt (that I'm currently wearing), thanked me for my service, and refused to take payment. It was a small gesture but genuine. He was so kind and gracious and funny. One of my absolute favorite human beings. Also a multiple New York Times bestseller!
