Round 14 of the 1990 FIM 500 cc World Road Racing Championships took place at the Hungaroring near Budapest. The famous 'fast four' of Eddie Lawson (Yamaha), Wayne Gardner (Honda), Kevin Schwantz (Suzuki) and Wayne Rainey (Yamaha) were threatened by a young Australian called Mick Doohan (Rothmans Honda).
Riding faster and faster, the determined Aussie roared his way towards the big time to take his first win in the Championship series.

The speed by the NSR was insane. Doohan just wiped past everyone on the home straight.
Joey dunlop then mick doohan i dont care what anyone says! But thats my age generation! Mick was a complete animal too tame an nsr500 and joey was unreal to tame the tt! Theres no comparison in my eyes 2 absoulute mad men but complete masters of their crafts and heroes in my eyes. Joey passed but mick is still alive and i wish i will get to meet him some day as i didnt with joey! The pleasure smiles and happiness you guys brought to my family life will never be compared! Rip too one and thanks too the other
