Shirou is damn old but his physical appearance is the same as when he was killed and resurrected 1000+ years ago so he is immortal but also technically 'ageless' making the age gap not matter.

Like look not everyone has to ship them, but if the show which I hope has other seasons we can obviously see they have great chemistry and he genuinely starts to care for her. I can see the sibling thing but how is it different when literally other anime’s are just like this even with age gaps and they still ship them. Can we just say that this series represents the furry community perfectly: not overly sexualized, cool, impressive, and most importantly; inviting!

Shirou and Michiru are better as siblings then lovers.
