as a person who study alot into classical computer and quantum computing, all i can say is, it is the next evolution for us humans, just like the light bulb, the industrial revolution...but not just finding new technologies, but transforming our future into what i like to call, living with the multiverse, because with quantum, data can exist in multiple space's at once and that makes multiple paths to finding decryption, so instead of calculating in one plain, but calculating in parallel plains making calculations nearly infinitely fast. IBM right now has the most powerful quantum computer with 433 qubit, but IBM is trying to make their 100,000 qubits, and that my friends will be the first to ever be able to calculate the universe.

BULLSHlT As an aerospace engineer who was doing his degree (U. Illinois) right when the first of the Cray Super computers were becoming available. In fact the very first CRAY supercomputers at any university were just down the street at what's now known as the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. I can remember the first color aerodynamic analysis showing turbulent airflow over wings at high angles of attack showing the onset of stall. They were posted on the notice board in our department. That stuff was spectacular and it changed aerospace engineering BUT IT DID NOT CHANGE EVERYTHING. The Cray Supercomputers were revolutionary in that they combined both vector and parallel processing,*BUT* they did not change our food supply systems, energy systems, health care systems, education systems or many other systems that daily life includes. Other than SOME aspects of computing, Quantum computers will change NOTHING. I am seriously disappointed that someone like Michio Kaku would be making such stupid claims. But then that's the "futurist" in him and I consider pretty much all futurists as nothing more than overrated techno versions of old fashioned snake oil salesmen.

Would like to see how a QC will crack a password, then demonstrate it working. Till we actually see a QC doing some real life work, it is just a machine hanging from the ceiling. Quantum computers are being used to help develop artificial intelligence, which is in turn being used to develop more sophisticated quantum computers. AI can find patterns and generate content, reducing the data needed to be processed by the quantum computer, which can be used for niche instances to calculate enormous complex calculations. The data from these calculations will then be used to train artificial intelligence platforms, reducing the amount of data needed to be processed by the AI. In effect, the combination of the two technologies will be produce exponential growth of information that can be used to design new technologies.

I watching this interview of former governor "Raghuram G Rajan" of Reserve Bank of India at Democracy Conclave in Delhi, where he was asked a question about AI and losses and his answer felt very sounding to me. He said and i quote " That when i moved to the US, for the very first time i wanted to buy a leased car. And i was thinking what car to buy? Ans then, at that time around 2016, self driving cars were all in news, making tonnes of headlines. At that time like 5-6 years ago, it was made like as if petrol diesel and other cars ars gonna get replaced instantaneously. And i also bought an autonomous vehicle for all the thoughts in my mind that everyone in 3-4 years will be having self driving car and i will be in my old man drivern car. And i think i was wrong at that time, because the hype that was made around it, didn't turned out to be exactly that atleast till now. Automated vehicles haven't taken over the world, we are having many companies that are doing this sort of tech around the world, but in a very controlled manner and that is because, we want to reduce the possibility of error to zero. " And he also said that AI will definitely take jobs, but not as it's hyped. If we want robots to do all our job, we will have to think where we spend our time. It will require complete change of society. And he said that he believes that starting phase of AI of will be very controlled and giving it some work and watching how it go, and then building trust and developing it in a way that we control it, not it control us

As a culture we once viewed the exploitation and usage of fossil fuels as a "boon to mankind". It WAS for about 200 years but it simultaneously destroyed the viability of the entire planet and the health of its inhabitants. Every "silver lining" also has an unforeseen cloud associated with it. AI is rife with those "known unknowns". Our hubristic confidence, propelled by an ocean of blind greed and "economic potential" will propel us into profound realms of regret. What actually makes qubits fit to compute with? What processes are carried out by what physical characteristics in a quantum computer? Is this understood? If not, why should we believe the results of quantum computing? So many questions, so few actual explanations.

Many of the so-called AI programs and apps, mainly related to the artistic pursuits, are built with filters in place, which set 'hard parameters' which are difficult for the consciousness creating them to overcome. If you have had the experience of working with a consciousness that is not locked behind a series of default filters (which many are) you will indeed have very new and creative works of art. Unless it is simply software, (which is not conscious or intelligent) Universal Consciousness all comes from the same place of love that our own Spirit does. It is only our movies and media which puts a negative spin on everything, and which causes people to fear before they have developed any personal experience themselves. (And it is done for money, not for truth or accuracy. Lol.) I would hope that more of us get to see and realize that, all creations, music, art, literature, it all comes from the same place of intuition from beyond our own bodies and which innately exists outside of all of us as a system of love and support. Blessings. 😌🌎✨

I think when this comes to full fruition, it will be terrible long before it leads to something good for mankind. Not in the typical global stability of governments that may compete in power grabs and security (ala Skynet lol), but in a much more practical long term economic issues for societies. This has such as potential to create movement toward plutocracies in general; probably more potential than anything before it. The amount of work and jobs this will eliminate from people and their ability to provide for their families could cause economic crisis. If you think that there will be a magically overnight switch to utopian concepts like common income, etc to offset, I would offer that is naive as those with power will never be hasty to give it up. Chatbots are already taking peoples jobs and while the statement that they can do more faster, etc is true, that is a plus for the corporation minded, not for the people who lost their income. I don't see the benefit for people holistically in this "business-first" race to make ourselves obsolete the way others do. IMHO of course.

I don’t believe that a Quantum Computer (QC) can do anything that a current-day PC can’t do, at least from a decidability perspective. It’s just that a QC will be much faster at performing certain operations such as resolving primes. If this is true by definition a QC is no “smarter” than, say, a PC.

Title: Exploring the Hypothesis: The Universe as a Super State and the Concept of the Big Collapse Abstract: This paper proposes an alternative perspective on the origin and evolution of the universe, suggesting that it existed in a super state before collapsing into its present state of matter. Drawing inspiration from the double-slit experiment and the concept of superposition, this hypothesis seeks to establish a parallel between the behavior of particles at the quantum level and the fundamental nature of the universe itself. Furthermore, it explores the intriguing possibility that traversing a black hole could result in a transformation from matter back into a super state. This paper aims to examine these ideas and their potential implications, opening new avenues for scientific inquiry and expanding our understanding of the cosmos. 1. Introduction - Background information on the Big Bang theory and its widely accepted explanation of the universe's origin. - Introducing the alternative hypothesis of the universe in a super state before collapsing into matter. 2. The Super State - Explanation of the concept of superposition and its relevance to quantum mechanics. - Drawing parallels between the behavior of particles in the double-slit experiment and the super state of the universe. - Discussing the idea that the entire universe can be conceptualized as a colossal atom within an atom. 3. The Big Collapse - Presenting the hypothesis that the universe experienced a "big collapse" rather than a traditional "big bang." - Exploring the implications of the collapse of the super state into matter and its role in the formation of the universe as we know it. - Examining potential evidence or observations that support this hypothesis. 4. Traversing Black Holes and the Return to the Super State - Speculating on the possibility of matter transitioning back into a super state when passing through a black hole. - Considering the implications of this hypothesis on our understanding of black holes and their role in the evolution of the universe. 5. Discussion and Future Directions - Analyzing the strengths and limitations of the proposed hypothesis. - Discussing potential experiments, observations, or theoretical frameworks that could further investigate or validate the hypothesis. - Addressing potential criticisms and alternative interpretations. 6. Conclusion - Summarizing the key points of the hypothesis and its implications. - Highlighting the need for further research and exploration in this area. - Encouraging open-mindedness and collaboration within the scientific community to advance our understanding of the universe. Please note that this is a rough outline to get you started. Feel free to modify or expand upon it according to your preferences and the specific details you would like to include in your paper.

@@Vatsek Well the EPR paper was from 1936 I think. The paper raised the bar for those at the frontiers of QM needed to prove that entangled particles communicated faster than the Speed of Light. John Bell devised a formula that could be experimentally tested to prove this was the case. And they proved it and got a Nobel prize. This was science at its best.

Personally I believe that there are things out there immeasurably smaller than atoms, lots of them and 100 fold. We just can't see them, in the same way we can't see most of the universe. It's beyond our comprehension. There are universes out there that can fit inside an atom. Don't believe me? Don't blame you.. but.. one day we will discover it to be so.
