Sunday afternoon in Michigan City. Train 505 from Chicago to South Bend arrives on time. This video covers the entire trip past the station from when the horn can be heard in the distance, the announcement of the train's approach, the train stopped on Track 1 and it's departure for South Bend. I let the camera sit on the tripod while I took a few still photos (overlaid on the video).
The announcement was as follows:
"Attention South Shore Passengers. The next eastbound train is entering the station. For your safety, please stand behind the yellow line until the train comes to a complete stop. And watch your step as you are boarding and disembark the train. If you are using a smart phone ticket please activate it before boarding the train."
