Michelle (The Beatles) - A cappella cover (barbershop quartet)

Ойын-сауық

Michelle is a Beatles song released in the 1965 album Rubber Soul, recorded at EMI / Abbey Road Studios. The song Michelle was primarily composed by Paul McCartney, with bridge written John Lennon. Michelle was one of McCartney's first compositions and one of his greatest hits. Michelle was a number 1 hit for the Beatles in Belgium, France, Norway, the Netherlands and New Zealand, and it received the Grammy for Song Of The Year in 1967. The French lyrics "Michelle ma belle sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble" translates to "Michelle my beauty are words that go together very well".
Here is my original acapella arrangement of this classic, sung in the barbershop quartet style. Hope you enjoy!

Michelle, ma belle
These are words that go together well
My Michelle
Michelle, ma belle
Sont les mots qui vont très bien ensemble
Très bien ensemble
I love you, I love you, I love you
That's all I want to say
Until I find a way
I will say the only words I know that you'll understand
Michelle, ma belle
Sont les mots qui vont très bien ensemble
Très bien ensemble
I need to, I need to, I need to
I need to make you see
Oh, what you mean to me
Until I do, I'm hoping you will know what I mean
I love you
I want you, I want you, I want you
I think you know by now
I'll get to you somehow
Until I do, I'm telling you so you'll understand
Michelle, ma belle
Sont les mots qui vont très bien ensemble
Très bien ensemble
And I will say the only words I know that you'll understand
My Michelle

@@JulienNeel thanks! I like how the tracks are organized, it really helps to learn. Btw, that part around 2:00, the only thing it reminds me of and is kind of stuck in my head is the first verse of 'Paint it, Black' by the Rolling Stones... is this what you meant? :D

I was a kid when the Beatles showed up, and remember thinking they were not quite rock n roll, unlike the Rolling Stones. But I liked them better than the Rolling Stones, and finally figured out it was the harmonies more than even the fine tunes. They also remind me of the Everly Brothers, who I never could hear as two separate voices. That's probably why they work so well as a barbershop quartet.
